When I used my friends Frontier, he bought Adair Tracks. I went trail riding with my wife. One day we hit some really thick swamp mud. My wife stuck a tree branch into it. The four foot long branch disappeared into it. Straight down. Now I tell everybody, buy Adair Tracks. You will never use your winch. Yes they cost more then Argo tracks, but your feet will stay dry and clean. And they do not mess up the grass. The hard part is putting them together. It takes a few hours to put them together. Then drive the Argo on them and just remove some air pressure from one tire, bring the two tracks close to each other and use a strap to pull them together. Connect both ends then fill up your tire. And your ready to have a blast.
The only true ATV. And I proved it 5 years ago. I was in my friends Frontier with Adair Tracks. Everybody else were in those other so called ATV's. We drove through the woods for about 3 hours. Everybody had a walkie talkie. Then the woods slowly cleared away and a large lake was in front of us. I was pulling a Argo trailer with all the food for all of us, plus the generator and all the fuel. One so called atv driver said I can cross this with no problem. He drove in and about 50 feet out, his ATV disappeared. Myself land 3 other people started to the island. The driver was that so called atv crawled into the trailer behind me. He was very pissed off. The others drove around the lake and came up the very narrow drive to the island. The drive way is under water but can be seen if your on it. It took them another 2 hours to get to the cabin. Myself, I got there in 30 minutes. That so called ATV driver who lost his ATV ordered a Conquest 8 by 8 with Adair Tracks and a roof and windshield with the winch and push bar as soon as he got back home. His ATV is still sitting in the water 125 feet at the bottom. This happened before my friend moved to Montana. Now I'm a amputee and on social security. I want to start my own company, but we both know that the frontier 8 by 8 is not cheap. My company would be called First Coast Pond Cleaning Services. I would drive the Argo into a pond and clean up all the trash that's around the pond and whatever is floating on top. I figure a great price to charge would be 35 dollars an hour. I live in Florida. We have a lot of gators. I think with all these ponds in and around all these apartments that it would work. Plus there is no company that does this. Plus during hurricane season I would drive to the effected areas and rescue people that are stuck in there homes. Having a Argo trailer behind me with a thick sheet of plywood as the floor. Just in case somebody who is in a wheel chair. I've seen a Sherp doing this but not a Argo. Paying back to the town. Plus on my days off I would use it as a boat to go fishing. Just having to get a 9.9 hp motor on the mount. No need to back up to the ramp. Park the truck, lower the ramp and drive off, up the ramp back up and drive to the boat ramp. Lower the shaft and away I go. My room mate would operate the tiller, then finding a small island I would drive on it and then starting to catch my dinner. I love flounder. But my luck there so dam expensive and nobody sells a great machine. You can buy those other ATVs everyday but not a Argo. Pray for me that I hit the lotto. I would drive to Pa and buy one at Shanks.
