Debra Messing's delivery of the dentist joke before totally switching gears into virulent racism is comedic timing at its best.
Doesn't hurt that she's a babe, either.
And yet the Beth character never guessed what religion a person named Jerry Seinfeld would be a member of.
It was great
@@canam2436She's bad at being racist.
She's Jewish
the freezeframe of jerry's face is perfect.
It is hilariously priceless.
especially after her comment, "Jerry looked so pissed off"
Beyond perfect
It's a meme before there were memes.
That psychotic look in her eyes is pretty scary too
For some reason, that "...Hey Kramer" always cracks me up. That Kramer seems to know everybody is one of the best things they ever did with this character.
And then when they found out his first name some of them would be, “Hey, Cosmo!!”
And Dr Abbot deliberately looks away from Jerry as he walks down the aisle. Hilarious situational irony since Jerry’s unaware the joke got back to Dr Abbot.
Robert Wagner acted that part to perfection
It doesn't really apply here though. Mickey is one of his best friends that he's known for years. It's not really that weird that he would know his parents lol
yep. I think we all know a Kramer.
I'm a "Seinfeld" fanatic, and when I see a video called "Anti-Dentite," I think of the much funnier scene earlier in this episode when Kramer calls Jerry an anti-dentite and says, "Oh sure, it starts with a few jokes and some slurs. 'Hey, denty!' Next thing you know, you'll be saying they should have their own schools." Jerry replies, "They DO have their own schools!" I feel misled.
lol same here "Hey Denty!!!" and they "should have their own schools" lol
The city that never sleeps is full of workaholics. Hence ridiculing ones profession is a big deal. I take it that’s the joke.
That scene is also on youtube.
This comment is still funny.
Well take a look at the thumbnail, genius. No misleading yourself there.
the end is comedy gold
M. Wasiq Wasim Jewish gold if you will
Kenny Bannia : GOLD, JERRY, GOLD! !😁
That would *NEVER* be acceptable on tv now!!! 🤣
There is further ending where Elaine asks Jerry where she went and he responded "She's shaving her head."
Especially since Debra Messing is Jewish to begin with!!
Jerry's face at the end is PERFECT comedic timing.
Of course, it was... it was a freeze-frame.
My favorite part is Elaine’s reaction when she realizes that she’d just boinked the adoption guy for nothing. Guess he wasn’t sponge-worthy. LOL
Getting a baby for a couple with the following: anger management issues, commitment issues, and bigotry- it's not advisable
@@fromthehaven94 It's just a show, and in reality, you don't get a baby, the birth parents choose who they want to parent their baby through a complete biography of couples with an agency. More often than not, the birth mother changes her mind and chooses to parent. There are some instances where a birth parent will ask the agency to decide for them. Adoption is not like you see on TV, we have adopted internationally as well, it is a long process.
@@51Saffron The method Elaine employed to help Beth and Arnie along in their adoption process, after she blabbed about Arnie's temper, that was not advisable. Thank you, Captain Obvious.
Never the less, I admire her commitment to right the wrong she caused.
@@fromthehaven94 facts
Arguuably the best ending to any Seinfeld episode
Idk man, the marine biologist story gives it some steep competition
As far as best last lines of Seinfeld episodes, this one & the marine biologist are definitely in my top ten. But my #1 best last line has to be Elaine telling Jerry: "I'm going to visit my mother, she just bought me some new panties and they're all laid out for me!"
In context, that was hysterical, ROTFL!!!
What about "My mother just bought me some new panties and they're all laid out for me"
Oscar Francis I also love the ending when they’re at Monk’s sipping coffee and Jerry just says “Who thinks an immigrant is gonna have a pony”
No way it The Race
I love how Dr. Abbott says hello to Kramer and then looks away as he walks by Jerry.
Never thought about how he's a dentist threatening to knock someone's teeth out! 🤣🤣
but it actually makes perfect sense!
I came here in search of this comment!
and people really compare friends with seinfeld? wow they need to watch this show more
The foundation 4 friends
Just found this show and it's epic
Finally someone agrees...!!!
Yeah, I don't think they can be compared as they are all great in their own way. Totally different personalities and situations.
well they both got cancelled
Gotta love the randomness of it too. From "dentists suck" to "let me tell you why I don't like Blacks and Jews"
This show was pure genius.
You know what's funny is Jerry is nodding in agreement before he realizes what she's saying.:-D
i dont get it
I did not see that coming
I did nazi that coming
I got sucker punched by that ending! 😂
Lol, just watched this re-run last night. Reminded me of the Blues Brothers Nazi Rally "The Jews are using the Blacks as muscle, what are you going to do about it, Whitey? Just stand there?" :D
@@carlosmatos9848 I hate Illinois nazis!
Kramer definitely took that last line to heart.
Lol
Stop laughing it’s not funny
Appalling
Love seeing Robert Wagner n Jill St John on the show! Him saying that he would knock Jerry out is hilarious!
You could tell Robert was struggling not to laugh when he had to say those lines
lol @ the Blacks and the Jews.......omg the look on Seinfelds face says a thousand words.........
Five thousand.
He probably thought about Kramer @the Laugh Factory.
@Holden Mcgroine was he really being unfair to them though? The whole thing was over his dentist becoming a Jew to tell Jewish jokes lmao. Except for a joke or two at the end there I don't think he was being an anti-dentite
Talk about going out on a high note. What a perfect way to end the episode. I laugh just thinking about that face. I don't even have to see it.
Jerry's Jewish so that makes it even more funnier.
big fan of Seinfeld too but here they cut too early
a little later you could hear Elaine asks "Where is Beth ?"
and Jerry answering "She went out get her head shaved"
which is hilarious :D
Behrouz Jazizadeh. They’re saying she’s become a skinhead due to her previous comment that she can do without blacks and Jews
Ask you parents/ grandparents/ cousins... it will make sense.
@Jake Shattuck But they're not likely part of the subset of white supremacists who do the same thing.
I saw some vid that mentioned that the TBS seinfelds actually speed up the original some imperceptible percentage and shave off bits of it to make it fit in some shorter timeframe (I guess so that they could sell more commercials).
Yeah I remember that on the original airing
Proctologists are the best golfers. They get in 18 holes a day.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Means ??
OMG! You’re a procto-phobe
Your post should be in the thousands of Likes!
Proctology: There are a lot of openings in that field.
Elaine: "Where's Beth?"
Jerry: "She went out to get her head shaved."
Hahahah, best show ever! xD
Don’t get it please explain
@@RawDogTV Beth said an offensive slur to Jerry and he escorted her out of the wedding and when he came back Elaine asked where she was and he told her, "She went to get her head shaved."
@@RawDogTV he’s basically saying she’s a skinhead
@@gregumsharris9876 bonehead* the actual skinheads came from black culture, specifically Jamaicans. Look up the history of Spirit of '69
that freeze frame at the end was goddamn gold
Please don't take the Lord's name in vain but other than that I agree
Luke Ulibarri yeah! I hate it when people take the goddamn lord’s name in vein!
@@lizardman7718 Fuck yeah! I hate that "goddamn" bullshit too!
And it was at *THAT* moment where yadda yadda yadda
i watched jeopardy last night and i feel the need to let you know that there is only one d in yada
His face at the end!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That end scene is one of the funniest scenes I've ever seen I laughed so hard
Curious note Mickey parents are a real life cpl: Robert Wagner and Jill St.John (married since 1990).
Not boating though...
Since his first wife drowned.
Growing up, Jerry loved Abbott and Costello. Mickey's surname is in honor of Bud Abbott. 🙂
@1:02 : Jill St. John still looking gorgeous.
George's stories have less words but are more funny!
Anti dentite bastard.. the way he said it 😂😂
What a great episode of an incredible show.
lmfao he could not have made a more perfect face xD
Man. Debra Messing was such a beauty.
Beth should date "Mr. Obrian."
Astroturf! The jews!
1:46 Hey, what do you call a doctor who fails out of med school? A dentist🤣😅😅😂
That's dad's reaction....with an unenthusiastic "hey Kramer" always intrigued me. Lol
The greatest comedy of all time
Pure comedy gold ,
Gold Jerry!
Debra Messing. dear god......stunning...
Debra Messing is pretty hot here though.
dont follow her on twitter, dont break the spell
I'm disappointed in Debra"s last words. I hope they were in the script and had to be said. She is a Beauty.
@@Tadju50 LOL Of course its scripted.... LOL!
In fact the whole episode was just a set up for that one last joke...
@@Tadju50 Uh, why wouldn't they be?
@@davidl570 Not Politically Correct, would be blackballed now.
Writers thought for sure that anti-dentite would enter the national vocab and no idea that yadda-yadda was the winner.
And shrinkage and re-gifting
I like to use anti-dentite, personally. That being said, yadda-yadda is much more versatile
Yadda yadda was already a common phrase way before Seinfeld.
@@southsidesaiyan8641 Not THAT common but yes, around, it is how they hilariously examined in detail what it implies in various situations such as dating.
Im gonna start using utensils when eating cookies, snickers, etc.
That scene shocks me how many ever times I watch it! It's probably what good writing is all about. 😂😂
Priest: And now your son will give his bride to be a diamond ring (pauses and slowly turns toward Jill St. John) because after all, diamonds are forever.
I first parsed that as "your son will give his bride, to be a diamond ring" rather than "your son will give his bride-to-be a diamond ring" and was very confused. 🤔
Classic ending haha
Who ever wrote that ending joke deserves... something that indicates that's a really good ending joke.
Whoa! That was an awesome ending!
A dentist telling he’d knock his teeth out Lol
That whole part of the show was perfection...
I have referred to this episode many times. A hearty fu to those who didn’t get it
That "Hey, Kramer" from Mickey's father is an underrated moment.
She’s a stunner.
From 1:45 to 1:55 Jerry was even more into her, the remaining seconds it all went downhill. Damn!
Shortest relationship in the show
ELAINE: I think I'm going to be sick.
Look who's talkin'.
I knew since Nov-29-1981 that Robert Wagner had a violent streak.
Hahaha. On point.
Lol, if this was aired now Holy hell people would lose it.
Yeah, imagine all the great comedy we're missing out on because too many people get offended. Sad times
@@spacelion88 💯
Robert Wagner can make anything sound cool
I thought that was him lol
But the real question is, who does number two work for?
Is that a Prisoner reference.
Oh boy she would try that joke nowadays.
1:58 My face when I hear it LOL
“She went shopping to get some shoes for the wedding and yada yada yada I’ll see her in 6 to 8 months.”
This world would be a much dimmer and less interesting place if Seinfeld had never been made.
Hey it's Tony Dinozzo Senior from NCIS and Emilio Largo aka Number Two in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery 1:21
*NO! I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU PUSHING ME AROUND!*
2:00 😂
He did nazi that coming
She would then star in the new sit com "Will and Grace" in a few short months.
Lol Debra Messing
That ending, like an M. Night Shyamalan film. So twisty!
Best Ed Bassmaster psh ever
Love him!
Heart to Heart reunited.
Juggling Taxi 🚖 see Jerry’s face. Crazy lady.
I did not see that coming 😂😂😂
I didn't hear the end and I think that was for the best.
that's the best part.
The end is 🤯
1:55
"Hello, Based Department?"
Haha... Robert Wagner!
Haha...remember that time he killed his wife? He’s a riot!
You mean the _MURDERER?_
Yeah, he'll have you drowning in laughter!
@@cbrreezzyy69 Curious fact Robert Wagner is married with the actress he appears with in this episode has Mickey parents: Jill St.John (they are married since 1990).

Beth is seriously hot
Yep. She's a keeper. And she's hot too.
No tits
Debra messing "grace" got a great face
Grace!
Anybody notice the black guy in the backs face when she drops the bomb in Jerry.
Good catch!
I've never heard someone tear down two ethnicities so sensually before.
Best scene lol
La química entre Jerry y Elaine 💛
Mrs Perfect Teeth: dentists, who needs them? 😁
1:56 damn
Based
Debra Messing was beautiful and normal back then, now and based on her tweets, she sounds demented!
woah that took a wild turn
One thing about Kramer I didn't like is he's wherever the wind blows concerning Jerry and his friendship .
When you watch the INSIDE LOOKS about this episode! They REALLY thought Anti-Dentite would've caught in alot heavier in pop culture! They way Yadda Yadda did and a few of the other sayings from the show had
*act break music plays*
I miss the 90s
What episode was when Elaine says something like, "you're not a real doctor, you're a dentist." Or something to that effect?
It's "The Conversion", season 5 episode 11, but it's a podiatrist, not a dentist.
+TheBillieWay Thanks. I found the video with your help czcams.com/video/0yFEWgimK-Y/video.html
I agree Debra.
I didn't realize until recently that Dr. Abbott was also Number 2 from Austin Powers. I feel that there should be a good crossover joke.
1:01 *Tyrion Lannister's bastard is that you?!* xD
In the last scene of Game of Thrones final episode next year, we will see Tyrion getting caught heightening. * fade to black *
I love Beth!
The mother was Jill St. John, former Bond girl 27 years prior.
Actually, the joke is, "What do you call someone who failed the Proctology exam? Answer: a Dentist"
His name, Number 2
And I got a toothpastes ad on this one.
Why does the Audience laugh when Robert Wagner says hi to Kramer?
They pretty much have a laugh track for every line. It’s an American thing.
@@marleypumpkin4917 If you see the whole episode, there's a reason the audience laughed. "Seinfeld" was filmed before a live studio audience.
1:24-1:36 hey Dr. Abbott, Tim Whatley made offensive jokes about Jewish people so that's why Jerry made those mean jokes about dentists! But that scene is still funny! 😄😄😄 Also Debra Messing is in the movie open season and her character is named Beth too which is interesting because she plays two characters in a movie and a show that both have the name Beth in it.
