- Our latest Forza Horizon 4 chase comes from the film Red 2, in which a lotus exige gets chased by some Land Rovers. Turns out the Landy is a terrifying adversary.

I would have loved to see it without them repairing as well. Considering they have sheer numbers. Never-the-less, great and exciting chase.
Impressed Alex lasted as long as he did. Even before the damage started piling up, the Land Rovers were just too good for the Lotus. Lots of instances in the first couple of minutes of Land Rovers sticking to Alex through a sharp turn, or catching up at speed.
I think he could have pushed out those final 5 or so minutes if he didn't try to turn corners so often with busted steering. Whenever he was on a straight in the city, he did build up a decent gap.

Why are the chasing vehicles allowed to repair in this one? They can easily have one car pull off to repair, and still have ten more chasing you. Not having that option would mean some more careful consideration of going for the big torpedoes, because if they miss, it's a big penalty, an advantage for you.

This is such a brilliant idea that I went ahead and created some period Georgia State Patrol skins on the Horizon 4 Falcon XA GT-HO (standard edition). They're listed under "Georgia GSP," which seems to be what everyone puts the modern Chargers under. Going to do the same on the '66 Nova, '65 GTO, and the AMC Machine if I can pick one up in the Autoshow. Do you think the Buick GNX ought to be represented too, given it's the only quad-headlight, square-headlight machine in the whole game?

If you did a WWZ chase
You- SUV like a Velar, reason? The heroes are heavy and strong
Zombies- in a nimble car, the zombies in the movies are very fast and maneuvering. So a Porsche Panemara or an M5 or a Audi
Rules- Sim damage but the Zombies are allowed to repair, they have to drive to the safe house though. Your goal is to survive 10 minutes and than go to a safe house of your choice.

The only problem with this is that if the zombie cars are much quicker then they can just slam into Alex and then repair even if it takes a couple minutes to repair theres still 5+ cars giving chase
When you have to survive 20 mins and the video is only 18:22 long, well, lets just say the ending did not surprise me.

Hey FailRace. I've come up with an idea for one of these chases. Inspired by the movie Spectre Alex would drive a stock Aston Martin DB10 and 10 of the chasers would use Range Rover Velars with the SVR engine swap (For the sake of variety and competitiveness) whilst the Aston would also need to stay away from a stock Jaguar C-X75. I can't help but feel that having a horde of slower cars with one significantly faster chaser would make for an interesting pursuit. Please make this video and like the comment if you to would like to see a Spectre police chase.

Another vote for a Smokey and the Bandit chase next. Forza has the right car, and I just whipped up some Georgia State Patrol themes on the Falcon XA, AMC Rebel, '66 Nova, and the Buick GNX. Big variety for some in-chase carspotting.

The Lotus is a handling car. It shouldn't have gone out of the city where there are more long high speed roads where the Lotus underperforms easily against the very powerful Range Rovers.
It's more the RR can take shortcuts the Lotus can't, the Exige is actually reasonably quick
When you really want to try something like this on FH4 but know you would be disconnected 5 times in the 20 minutes

One thing that annoys me about RED 2 is how the Range Rovers and that Lotus have ROI registrations, specifically Dublin regs, but in the UK, specifically GB format, despite the fact they were in England where surely they can get some english regs to use. The Nissan Navara at the airport they drive to has a UK reg, correct to the car and all, it was an 04 plate, end of production for the model, and that's a 'star car' so to speak. The DAF used in the stunt also has a UK reg, along with all background cars in the entire chase scene including the police Astra which is involved in part of it (I couldn't see the regs of the rest of the police cars used). They went to the effort to shorten the Dublin regs to 7 characters to fit the UK format by knocking the last one/two number(s) off, so why couldn't they just get some actual GB regs? Is there some reason attached to filming in London that prevents it, fixed ANPR, speed and congestion charge cameras?
I am overlooking the physics defying Range Rover crash and the CGI fart the DAF was part of. I let them off with it not being a car film.

I absolutely love the concept of this series, but it never seems to work out in practice. I much prefer Hunt the Survivors, even though the roles are reversed, because the odds are much better.

It was most exciting when you where outside of the city. If you had only stayed in the city I'd say it would have been much less entertaining as there was really no tension before you left the city.

Sometimes I think Alex should add some dead time to the end of a video to hide the result.
Sort of give away the ending when the video is shorter than the survival time goal.
I'm nonplussed as to why you'd choose a high performance sportscar when the Chelsea tractor jalopies are far better handling and can catch up and out perform you.
