Agreed 100%. The only reason those albums get hate is because he sings with a country accent for some of it (which does feel weird). When he sing the songs in his normal voice they’re so much better.
Load is miles better than ReLoad though. ReLoad has like 3/4 good songs, and the rest is meh (not bad, just not that good), whereas all the songs from Load are at least good.

James is sounding and looking great. I don’t know when I went from disliking some of the songs from this era to liking them. Maybe it’s the passion in the performances…
I always liked those albums from the mid 90s and that one from the early next decade but I dont think the productions were very well made. They lack drive and feels too produced, is my opinion.
@@danielberma I see… I actually think that the production is great for Load and Reload. DM me as bad and we know why. St anger is kinda not in this coz that sound was deliberate. Talking about Load and Reload tho, I think the production and musicality combined make it unique. I just find them very well tailored. But yeah, some guys may find it overproduced like you said. I like ‘em all tho (:
I think load reload and st.anger are great albums if you listen to them song by song there are great songs in those albums they just dont match up one after other 100%. I think i listen to these albums more than the previous ones

HB James, you vocals are so good nowadays. The way Kirk plays the solo is pure metal god level 10. Lars is rocking those drums like never in his life. Rob's bass is fat and precise. Love it.

The Memory Remains = Nostalgia
Believe it or not, but this was the song that got me listening to Metallica! First I listened to reload album in 1997 then I went all the way from Kill 'em all to cover every single album and single they ever released. However, I remember the first song I liked by Metallica was Wherever I may roam, but their music was too heavy for me at that time. Happy to see they still play and produce great live concerts.
It was Load for me. I know a lot of Metallica fans prefer their earlier stuff, but Load was my gateway.
Bleeding me opened the door for me to their music
imo, there's no more perfect moment in music than when a band and the audience are simultaneously performing a song. The reciprocity of love energy is at its peak. Metallica rules.. Metallica fans rule! 🤘🏾⚡🤘🏾
I wanna go see them so bad. They're the reason I chose metal as my favorite genre of music when I was growing up. Its just never ever worked out for me to go.

I'm 39 and saw Metallica live for the first time at the Copenhell Festival in June this year. It was fucking amazing. If you ever get the chance, go see them!!
I just saw them last night in Pittsburgh. I've been a fan for over 30 years and just now got to see them. They were INCREDIBLE!! The crowd singing along to songs like this was amazing.
Never thought I'd have to leave it to an almost 60 year old Metallica to hear a proper Hetfield vocal on the Load/Reload songs, but here we are. They're all sounding great these days, especially James.

They need to play more from load and reload beside this and fuel imo, there are so many songs from this album that barely get played or never been played. For example, call me crazy but my favorite metallica song is where the wild things are and they havent played it once, they should do a show playing all of load one night and reload the next show like they did with the black album

This song is like a warm blanket on cold nights. It's strange that it has grown so much in all these years to be one of the all time favourites of mine and so many others. The crowd singing really pushes this to a universe level of epic.

The Load and Reload albums were monumental…I wish I could go back to when I first ever heard them as a young kid….and I grew up on all their albums…as a die hard loving them these albums were just so amazing the Melodies, the guitar tone, the album feel man…all of it
I absolutely love the mix on these live shows, props to the guy that does all this wiering and mixing it so well that it sound so rich with drums crowd guitars bass and solos all taking their right place in my eardrums, it's a pure delight compared to soundboard rips from the 80s even tho those sound great it really shows the people behind the buttons cranks and everything that makes this sound work well live as well on CZcams kudos for real bro!

I really love what they done with this song live. Super powerful. I also think they play it towards the begin of sets to play to the crowd early. Easily top 5 song of the load, reload, garage Inc era.
