Journalists are disappearing. Human rights activists are disappearing. China's reporting of the COVID-19 epidemic is pretty sketchy. Not only that, China tried to stop countries from helping Taiwan recover from an earthquake.
Oh, and I didn't even mention them getting upset when someone praises TW on how well they've done combatting COVID-19!
So yes, China is just like the US, trying to grow a sphere of influence and they don't care at all about the consequences. Chinese nationalism is real. Don't be a Chinese nationalist. Patriots dare to criticize their country.
