- I took a flight up to Edinburgh and a train down to Carlisle for the away day in league one... a much quicker process!

English fan culture is truly amazing, seems like 600+ fans turning up for such a long awayday
1800 Portsmouth fans came to Carlisle the week before. One guy I spoke to got up at 3.30am for a 3pm kick off!
Was 442.
Got to respect Carlisle away fans, most away games are a trek for them. Least we only have to do it once a season.
Honestly takes an hour and a half before we are even near anywhere 😂
Took 600 to Portsmouth
But we took 1.8k there
@@Kylian-Mbappe-7_ You’re top of the league, we’re bottom of course you brought more fans to Carlisle.
I’d also argue that Portsmouth are a bigger club than Carlisle that average a higher attendance week by week so it’s not surprising you brought a lot to our spot.
His point was that when Carlisle travel away it’s a trek no matter where we play because we’re so far up north.
Burton Albion trip I feel sorry for you
Be honest i really feel bad for Carlisle for losing 7 in a row now, and its just getting really depressing now for Carlisle but i really hope they can do the great escape and that and it starts at Bristol rovers away on Saturday.
Great video mate.. very impressive away support as well…👏👏👍
Unreal day yesterday! Another great vlog too 💛🖤
Keep doing these videos, they are incredible!
You need to try the World's longest derby, when Perth Glory and Wellington Phoenix play each other: 5,300km, known as the "Distance Derby".
Nice to see that the long journey was worth it, love the videos mate
Fantastic vlog mate
Brilliant video to an epic come back for the Us 💛🖤
Catch you on the 'borough match next Saturday FJ 👍
I was at Edinburgh airport yesterday, wish I saw you !
I’ve ticked off Carlisle and doing Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday. I think Barrow is hard - lots of journey on a loop from south.
Longest away day this season is Plymouth v Sunderland. I guarantee you Sunderland will sell out their allocation at Plymouth no matter how we are doing
Have a like just for the Crass avatar.
Hi Josh mate if you love Edinburgh you should look to attend an Edinburgh derby one day, electric atmosphere 👍
When my team Northampton played Carlisle away and it took 6 hours
Brilliant ! Fair play to you from a Birmingham city fan
What a performance from the lads today can’t believe what I watched seemed like a men vs boys kinda game
Love your videos mate, but that was a tough watch for me…😭😭 We are woeful!!
Was in Edinburgh this week it’s beautiful
Please go to the most dangerous derby in slovakia, Sk slovan-Spartak Trnava
Neil Harris giving it the big one before moving to millwall
Did you fly back as well Josh ?
Mate, if u think 400 plus to Carlisle is a lot you should’ve seen pompey selling out a 13 hour round trip to Carlisle
Random thought but a Josh Ellis platten collab would be good
3:43 me with my younger brother
the Amber Army on tour in Edinburgh. brilliant
Have done Carlisle away by coach & minibus, on Saturday and Tuesday night fixtures respectively from Bristol. 10/10 do not recommend.
The flight to Newcastle for a weekend jolly this season was much more preferable.
Any away day, wouldn't be complete, without the customary Stone Island Jacket.
Thank you for video!
I think it is a stadium with soul, not like those modern stadiums, with any emotions. Football is not a theatre, it's a game of passion.
I don't like Premiership, awful stadiums, team full of foreign players... no passion, no emotion, just money.
Best regards from Croatia
8 minutes 10 that kid shitting himself over a pyro hahahaha
Straight out of John Nellis
Go to tranmere lad
Or Wrexham vs tranmere
903 bolton fans on a Tuesday night after a fruitless 8 mins in abandoned game.
Fair play for coming down as for all cambridge fans too great fans they have so big up the U's
Why is the game blurred
Come to Coventry vs Maidstone utd
What did you do to offset your flights? Seems insane to fly one hour when you could have gotten a train to Carlisle.
A train costs more and takes 3x as long 😂
@harryparsons2614 No, Harry.
A train from Norwich to Carlisle is about 5 and a half hours. The flight to Edinburgh is an hour, the taxi (why the fuck did he get the most expensive and longest mode of transport from the airport? Trams exist) likely over half an hour, he then waited over 20 minutes for the train before doing an another hour and a half. In total that's easily 3 and a half to 4 hours. So he didn't save much time, did he?
Equally, the train from Edinburgh to Carlisle is £30, the taxi is easily £30 if not more, and the flight to Edinburgh (according to google) could have been over £200.
So again: no, Harry. Maybe spend less time thinking about Stone Island and shagging your sister. You might learn something.
Why do yo have to blur the goals?
Its plymouth and sunderland the longest 😂
Playmouth Sunderland longest away day
Sorry to piss on your bonfire but the longest journey in the EFL is Sunderland to Plymouth.
Not the longest away day mate 😂 Plymouth to Carlisle is the longest
Nah its Truro to Blyth Spartans.
@@mousecanon4769 in the EFL mate
I mean it in general for all clubs, that Carlisle would be the longest 😅
@@fusionjosh 🤝
True but Carlisle and argyle are in different leagues this year
Carlisle to Exeter is longest
Proper ground im my eyes.. better than Arsenal for example
this isn’t the longest away day gotta be plymouth to sunderland
Nice vid b ut you MUST buy a new mic my friend.
Who was playing who
Where's the game play 🤔
4-0 Cambridge
Do women ever attend matches there? In this video, I didn't see a single female spectator.
Cambridge has football fans?
I thought youz just watched arty farty stuff like Cricket!
p.s . Carlisle should have joined the Scottish league system, just like Berwick Rangers,as all this travelling up and down England every week, will bankrupt them!
I don’t like this channel all I see is camera is in he face all the time and when playing he blur the player out to celebrate he call a a stream I want why people don’t want to support he
Josh has a contract with Cambridge United and does behind the scenes videos. He cannot show game footage until the month is over, EFL rules. When you are amateur hey do what you like but when you work with an EFL club then rules apply
