  • Silver is one of the earliest forms of metal, dating as far back as 3000 BC. However, not many people can explain its origin. So here's how this precious metal is produced.

      Most silver is mined in 3rd world countries I believe.
      What those people need to work for a month long the average 1st world employee makes in a day or 2.
      Gold is mostly mined in 1st world countries. Making it more expensive at the moment it's mined. Because our wages are higher.

    • @Oblivisci........
      @Oblivisci........ Před 7 měsíci +4

      @RedRingOfDead This definitely isn't true. Most silver is mined in Mexico. While Mexico suffers from cartels and violence, it's far from a third world country and is a democracy. Most gold comes from Russia, Ghana, Australia, China, and Indonesia. Gold is also more expensive because it's a far more rare earth metal than silver is. Silver and gold also cost the exact same in every country no matter where you are in the world.

      @@Oblivisci........ Okay I never said I was 100% sure eh.
      Although I think Russian gold will be an issue with current world affairs. And Russia does have 3th world wages compared to other places where gold is mined.
      I was sure gold and silver where abundant in the same amount of m³T and good was just worth more because it's used in so much electronics and whatnot, together with the higher wages obviously.
      Thanks mate

    Silver is not made in earth crust, it’s made when stars die. The earth can move it around & create veins, but that’s about the gist of earth’s involvement in “making” silver - more like making it available to mine.

      Silver is mostly a side product produced from other materials being mined; copper mining most likely as there are much higher concentrations than most other 'like found' elements; so cost of mining isn't as big a consideration as is refining...people gotta eat 8)

      I think so too, all other precious metals are right about or well over $1,000/oz. and I don't care gold is more rare, silver is used way more than gold and always being depleted. Platinum is 2xs more rare than gold and it's half the price so silver could even be the most valuable of the 3 one day.

We finished the job for them to make it accessible to all. You can say the people and the stars worked together to make the stuff. I lot of you just want to not think and have no idea what you're talking about and I did na zi that coming.

I've been stacking precious metals for a short period, do I understand the monetary end; however we don't completely understand that our planet is a lifeform, and we're just along for the ride.
