A truly spine shivering tragedy, cannot begin to imagine what it must have felt like to hear the creaking and twisting of steel as it buckled under it’s own immense weight whilst plunging into the below freezing waters of the Atlantic, the shrieking screams of 1,500 men,women and children who knew their perilous fate, the sheer terror of imminent death must have been indescribable, and once the lights went out all that was left was the shadowy silhouette of the once great unsinkable ship RMS TITANIC. What’s probably the most hair raising thing of all would have been the stop dead silence that followed after the ship had vanished and the screams slowly faded out until there was nothing but eerie stillness, they interviewed a survivor many years ago named Eva Hart and she said "it felt like the whole world stood still that night" and that the silence that shortly followed the screams was even more harrowing and that was the unequivocal moment that she knew the 1,500 souls had sadly perished. I recently watched a video of a titanic survivor who moved not far from a baseball stadium..he said that on game days it terrified him because the screams of the crowds reminded him of the screams he heard as the ship was sinking.. So I went and listened to some CZcams videos of crowds at baseball games and I was like omg that sound is terrifyingly
these sounds are truly terrifying, the sounds of the hull bending and splintering as the 3rd and 4th funnels begin to collapse, then theres only creaks and groans from the ship before she slips beneath the waves, and the panic on the deck as people struggle to stay on as the list continues and those screams are what make this worse, this will always be one of my favourites, and to never be forgotten, long live the titan.
The sound of the ship groaning as the steel hull getting pulled under by the sea is horrifying. The sound of the ship dying. The ship may be inanimate but those sounds gives you a perception like the ship is in real pain. Like how the pain of a terminally sick patient or a dying wounded animal would groan in distress as they reach their final moments. Those sounds, as the Titanic sank, is exactly like that. The sound of a ship groaning in agony as it reaches the end of it's life.

It wouldn't be realistic without the screaming don't u think? Maybe if u wanna get a real feel for what the bending steel really sounded like I guess. But it def wouldn't give us the proper understanding of what it might have sounded like.

It's a sound of creaking, groaning, and even like a roar of thunder. Steel plates being subjected to immense water pressure as the water pressure subjects tens of thousands of tonnes of metal, wood, and glass to intense strain. Not to mention the weight of the water pulling the bow down whilst a tug of war against the weight of the thousands of tonnes worth of 5 story high engines at the back of the ship getting lifted out of the water as the ship tilts. Putting the structure of the ship under immense structural strain. Yeah, it's beyond a bloop sound.
