  • Happy Tech Time Tuesday! If you own an RV and are thinking about adding Koni shocks you are going to want to see this video. The customer of this F53 was complaining about "HARSH RIDE" and we found something very interesting!
This mistake was caught because we strive to every coach through a Road Performance Assessment. (RPA). Keep in mind that your motorhome's steering, suspension, and braking systems are comprised of many different components, each of which must work correctly to ensure the proper function of the system as a whole. That’s why we recommend our Road Performance Assessment (RPA®). The RPA is a systematic, diagnostic 15-mile road test that reveals steering and suspension problems over a variety of road surfaces.

If you would like your very own RPA done on your coach you can visit us at our shop. Here is a link to set up an appointment:

I'm having Henderson's install front and rear sway bars and trac bars as well as a few other things. Wife and I are staying on their lot in the coach while they complete the install. Experience has been amazing. This family goes 100 extra miles to see that your customer experience matches or exceeds anything you would expect. Just wow...

I noticed black Sumos on this coach, I believe that they are for the 24K F53 and not for the 18K which are blue... that would be a firmer ride.... the shocks incorrectly is definitely a problem...2:12 shows the sway bar with the Ford OEM end links and not the new end links with offset and the same size hole as the RM sway 1 3/4 replacement bar...great video

I have four Koni shocks on order for my class a. I am excited to see how the coach rides after install. My coach is a 2014 Tiffin Allegro RED 33 AA with original shocks. 49k on the clock. Feels like a small boat on 4-6 footers.

Those Koni FSD shocks will definitely calm down the "boaty" feel of the Freightliner XC chassis! Once you get those installed, if you want more control you can consider our SuperSteer Motion Control Units as well as Roadmaster Anti-Sway Bar upgrades :)

Switching from square to round tires did the most for my F53 handling. 😁
