Brother, I am an ordinary Muslim but what I observed is that the verse 1 of Al-Fatiha & of the entire Quran is not recited by most imam in a jamah prayer while it is required in Quran 17:110. I believe it is a corruption & voids a prayer. Masha'allah! Subhanallah! Alhamdulillah! Allahu'akbar!

Brother Siraj's interpretation of Iblis is more Christian and contradicts from most Medieval Sufis who studied under the prophet's companions. Iblis refused to prostrate to Adam because he only will only serve Allah because he is djinn and not an angel.
And nowhere in the Qur'an does it say to obey any Imam. Anyone can become an Imam and many contradict each other. Shia should obey a Sunni Imam?

In what verse of the Quran Allah swt says of the Shahada & of the 5 Pilars? Did Prophet Muhammad pbuh as model of Allah swt on Islam by the Quran Alone ever recite of the Shahada: taking an oath of "bearing witness that there is no God but Allah & bearing witness that Muhammad is a Messenger (not a Prophet?) of Allah" while there is no verse of the Quran that Allah swt requires it, but appearing to contradict Quran 72:18; 63:1-3; 3:18; 10:34-35, 66; 16:86; 28:62-64, 71-75; 30:40; 42:31; 7:33? Also of the hadiths to be studied in & considered a part of Islam by the Quran Alone, viewed in the light of Quran 69:44-46? Would it be logical that after the completion & perfection of Allah's swt Revelations in the Quran to His Last Final Prophet Muhammad pbuh as His Ultimate Law & Guidance of Life for all of Mankind, there are still men after death of Prophet Muhammad pbuh who will write their own books of hadiths attributing them to Prophet Muhammad pbuh for his Ummah to consider & believe in as part of Islam other than the Quran as Complete, Perfect, Clear, in detail Words of Allah swt? Masha'allah!

Assalamualaikum im from indonesia
so what is one supposed to glean from this video, based upon its "title?" Initially, I heard Seraj talking about humbling oneself before others; but that was only for a limited time in this video, as being "limited" takes away "humbleness" as the title message.
For the most part, one may surmise the true spirit of Islam is "giving" based on his speech here if one is a "wholesome/positive" type person or..... if they are negative type, then they could just as easily say..."he (& islam) is all about $$$; no diff than anybody or any other religion of this world order." Is one POV truer than another, or can they both be true, or both be false? ( I ask each listener to consider)
I'm kind of disappointed in this video as the title of it lead me to believe there'd be some kind of insight/revelation to Islam that currently isn't being "told." Yet overall, it seems that this luncheon/dinner was no different than any other charity/fundraiser event out there in the world. Perhaps one day I'll get to talk to a learned man such as Siraj, and let GOD show/teach us both what we need to know about HIS Will on this earth, during our limited time here.
I second that the title of this video (and if it was the topic of the speech) is miss leading. I was looking for 'True Islam' as the topic.
