However, Lebron brought all of this scrutiny to Bronny by claiming he was better than NBA players, rushing him into the league before he was ready, and leveraging his contract to secure a contract for Bronny that could have gone to a much more deserving player.
I don’t know if you have kids. I have 3. Just giving them everything they want without them truly earning it is not always the best parenting move. This is like being the coach of an aau team and starting your kid when he’s probably not even good enough to be on the team. But on a much grander scale. Bronny essentially is getting a participation trophy.

Kind of like in football with DBs-sometimes defensive stats come because you are being targeted as a weak link by the offense. Often the best defenders don’t get opportunities to pick up defensive stats because the offense knows better

I cannot see Bronny ever in the NBA for a significant period of time. I just don’t think he has it. I am not a LeBron fan, but the reason he got drafted was because of LeBron. When I got out high school, we had a couple kids in my class, join their father’s business . They entered the business fairly at the top. They were qualified, but not overqualified. That’s just what happens when your parents are in that spot in other venues, not just sports.
