Errol is at the top because he knows that you can't just appear out of nowhere and drop your opinions on someone. First you need to make a person the willing participant in the conversation. Lee, for example, did not use the english major at all and started his band questions even when was met with a brick wall. The other lower guys similarily just started talking without course-correcting based on the responses. Dave was way too intense but he actually picked up on the info he was given and had a proper conversation.
