This era of Floyd deserves to be way more popular, imagine this atmosphere in an arena.
Honestly an arena perfomance would destroy completely the psychodelic undergound feeling. The best part of this tour is that it takes places in small clubs so you feel like you were in London in 1960's.
80 years old and still playing great. I hope to still be healthy and playing at that age.
I hope i still have ear's so i can enjoy music until i can't breath anymore.✌️🍷👌👍🥰🇳🇴

Putting this band together was a brilliant move by Nick Mason and his compatriots.
Desaparecidos Rick Wright y Syd Barrett, le tocó a Nick Mason mantener viva la llama eterna musical de Pink Floyd...y lo hace con absoluta dignidad y un enorme profesionalismo, ya legendario en los músicos ingleses.
No es mérito menor ya que en otras gigantes bandas como Génesis, ese sitial le correspondió al eximio guitarrista Steve Hackett, y al cabo del paso del tiempo ha sido el más prolífico de todos los ex Genesis. Un hermoso trabajo, la gente del mundo floydiano eternamente agradecido!

You gotta respect this gentleman. He could enjoy a well deserved retirement, and yet he is driven by passion and love for his audience, and touring ain't easy even for a young lad :D
I maybe will not be lucky enough to see this band live, but I am glad I can enjoy it here.

Ich denke Nick Mason liebt "Obscured By Clouds" , für mich eine der meist unterschätzten LPs von Pink Floyd , genauso wie Richard Wright bis zu seinem Tod in "Wish You Were Here" verliebt war...über 30 Jahre lang...solche Persönlichkeiten fehlen heute in der Musikkultur....
The only member of PINK FLOYD to appear on all of their ALBUMS... also was the man who initially could sort out the feuding members and bring them to their senses but eventually Nick couldn't unfortunately make them see sense and.... the rest ...well you know.... even in 2024 the hostility continues in fact it just gets more and more bitter as time goes by hence why we shall undoubtedly never see and hear the last original remaining 3 members reunite for a swansong and that's heartbreaking for fans, the members families and naturally the trio themselves ☹️😩☹️👎👎
The remaining three aren’t Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd died in 2008. Saucerful is the successor. It would be nice to have the other alumni join in.
gilmour wont play any Floyd music since Richard wright died, him and waters will be arguing till the day they die🙄
Nick's drums sound great. He is a great drummer.

some of these songs, in fact most of them, haven't been played live for decades! And mr Mason is in great shape for a man past his 80's. Great gig! If you ever come to Portugal I won't miss this show.
That is simply absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!! Someone called them the "punk version" of Pink Floyd. Robert Fripp would say that music "new" is whenever it is played / performed, no matter when it was written. It is in this same spirit as the last version of King Crimson (2014-2021) performed their earlier 1970s material (even though they included later numbers as well), Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets plays Pink Floyd's early material prior to "Dark Side..."" Listen alone to the "Set the Controls...", which is an absolutely new reading as it would have been composed just yesterday. They also have lots of humour, when Nick Mason introduces Spandau Ballet's Gary Kemp as a man who transformed from a "new romantic" to a "prog guitar god"... This is not a retro band, this a band that has seen and understood it all, psycedelic music, punk, electronica, you name it..... Wonderful band, keep on going guys!!!!!

Yes, I was amazed at his guitar playing when I saw them a few years ago. Apparently he's always been a massive fan 😂
I was not much of a fan of Spandau's music apart from their first album but he's a fine, top-level guitarist. Take a look at videos of Spandau's various reunion shows and his musicianship is very respectable.
Also got the Gilmour sound on echoes. Impressive

These guys are breathing new life into these classics; I'm falling in love with early Floyd all over again. I particularly love the raw African-jungle beats that Nick brings into the mix, taking the music way, way back to its primitive, visceral roots. On yer, Nick.
Who'd have thought Gary Kemp of Spandau ballet fame would be live on stage with Nick Mason of Pink Floyd, Nick has played a blinder with his entourage of musicians playing a back catalogue of Pink Floyd songs and instrumentals to new generations of fans and..... word on the street is Nick Mason's Saucer Full Of Secrets are going to be busy in a recording studio.. not resurrecting Pink Floyd signature sounds ... But something completely different, now that's got my taste buds working overtime and arse cheeks being squeezed unbelievably tight in anticipation of what will surface from the recording studio.... Keep watching and listening out for more information as and when it occurs

Me parece genial, tengo 64 años y era la música que oía a mis 13 años.
Me atrae este concierto porque a pesar que las voces son diferentes, se mantiene la esencia de cada canción, sin improvisar. Hay ligeros cambios en los tiempos y la instrumentacion que le da nuevos aires.
Conclusión grata sorpresa y gran concierto.
Que es música progresiva renovada.

Had front row, center stage seats for me n my adult kids with backstage passes for his Cincy show n then covid hit. First they eliminated dinner n back stage gatherings. Then 3 weeks later, the concert was canceled.😢

Nick Mason n'a rien perdu de son talent bien sûr après toutes ces années, il faut toutefois souligner le talent des autres musiciens aussi bons que les musiciens d’origine.Si on ne regarde pas la vidéo, la musique est aussi bonne qu'au début des Floyds ainsi que les chants .Bravo !!!!
