I also wanted to assemble an army of Kruleboyz, starting with the Dominion box, but the crisis broke out, and I only had enough money for a smallest starter set. But nevertheless I have one Kruleboyz unit now.
Why not everything? I bought the Dominion box when it came out. Yay me! I was sitting on it for a year. Now I decided to get into the kruleboyz for a speedpainting army. Got me another Dominion box for 80€(everything in it stormcast rulebook etc.) and the warcry box for about 45€. Less than my original box + some significant change. 🙄 I am planning on getting another Dominion box if I can find a person to split it with. Only for the boltboyz and the gutrippaz and an extra shaman it is super worth it.
in one of my locals a guy is selling the boys from the dominion for 45 euro on sprues i eye them aallot the models are nice but i relly like the gnashtoof thaat video is helpfull
You get an extra enhancement from the warlord Battalion. However these videos are a little out of date (points have changed, amulet of destiny has been nerfed, some of my enhancement choices are suboptimal). But the core idea (dominion plus another kit) should still work for a starter army.
Ah good catch, doesn't work at all huh; I was a little less experienced with playing 3.0 when I made this video. But on the bright side with the points cuts, if my quick math is correct you could slot the murknob in for a clean 1000 points and make a warlord work that way (although I'm not sure what I was thinking with egomaniak and amulet of destiny either, bit redundant)
Most of the game stores around me have quite a few still. I didn't get one when it released but just picked one up recently for $104 because they were trying to just get rid of them
@@actualwafflesenjoyer was waaaay more then indom. They basically estimated enough so everyone could get one which would of been alot. Indomitable was also during shortages so they had next to no boxes. Some stores reported 10 boxes of indomitable and 50 boxes of indominus. Huge differences.
Timmy is super common. It's like the clueless kid who loves gw and know nothing about politics or hoe scummy the company is lol. Johnny is same thing I believe.
Good point... i had to google it to check; it comes from Magic the Gathering, but crosses over to other games I guess: "Timmy is what we in R&D call the "power gamer." Timmy likes to win big. He doesn’t want to eke out a last minute victory. Timmy wants to smash his opponents. He likes his cards (models?) to be impressive, and he enjoys playing big creatures and big spells... What sets Timmy apart from the other two profiles is that Timmy is motivated by fun. Timmy cares more about the quality of his win than the quantity of his wins. For example, Timmy sits down and plays ten games. He only wins three games out of ten but the three he wins, he dominates his opponent. Timmy had fun. Timmy walks away happy." "Johnny is the creative gamer to whom Magic is a form of self-expression. Johnny likes to win, but he wants to win with style... Like Timmy, Johnny cares more about the quality of his wins than the quantity. For example, let's say Johnny builds a new deck that has a neat but difficult way to win. He plays ten games and manages to get his deck to do its thing… once. Johnny walks away happy."

How is the Timmy list supposed to fit in warlord Great Gnashtoof is a commander and it’s 1-2 troop choices

It's embarrassing how badly Dominion sold. My store still has 12 left...

@@actualwafflesenjoyer As I understand it they printed more than the initial wave of Indonitus but with no intention of repronting.

We probably shouldn't judge this too hard. They made enough, so now there is a super cheap way to get into the game. That is how it should be!
Never heard anyone use the terms johnny or timmy. Probably more effective terms to use...
