Gorgeous! Ancalagon the black, the biggest of Tolkien’s dragons.
In love the look of the cable. It came out so nice and crisp
I love how it came out! The epic landscape shots of Anchorage are beautiful too!
Thanks Denis!
That's a serious forge welding operation there. Well done!
Thanks John!💪🏻
All of you seem to be going different directions in your challenge. Makes for some very interesting viewing. Looking forward to watching the judging.
Man, that thing came out awesome! Great work sir!
Thanks a lot man!
Really nice chopper axe and really nice place where you are living. Landscape was truly out of this world.
Thank you!
The etch on the cable looks super dope!!! It's awesome that you'll have a functional piece to bring along with you on your outings.
What an awesome project/ax! I love the pattern of the cable! Best of luck in this chopper challenge! Thanks again Spencer!
Thank you!! And thanks for watching!
Just a beautuful piece. Thanks for sharing your process
Wow, the pattern has hypnotised me 😅.
Well done 👍
Wish you the best
That's nice, came out awesome. Full tang hatchets are nice.
Crazy cool pattern and axe! Looks very functional 🔥
Amazing build. That’s the coolest integral hatchet!
Thank you!
From one construction guy to another
Good job
Thanks you!👊🏻
That is awesome very cool.
This is so awesome! Love the bushcraft at the end also! 🤘🔥
Thanks man!!
Well, now we know it's possible to make a beautiful little ax using your technique, if we had your skill. Very nicely done, sir. The title sort of threw me; couldn't imagine making an integral ax.
..Well done sir. That pattern is going to be hard to beat. It may be a bit thin however it performs...!
Thank you!
Awesome video Spencer, great explanation of the process and it was really cool seeing it in action and a few of the things it could be useful for. Really enjoyed the forging process as well, I’ll be needing one soon haha. 10/10. Thing is a beauty too.
I like your work, and way of thinking. Some guys waste way too much time cleaning the metal. You got yourself a new subscriber brother 👍
Thanks man! And thanks for watching!!
From the process I've just seen I can say without any doubts: forging a hatchet is incredibly hard! The second part of the video is very unconventional but I enjoyed it even more than making the axe itself! Great work Spencer! I really like the multiple way you show how the hatchet perform! And I love the handle! Looks awersome!
Thanks man!! Wanted to show using the tool in a real world environment but I’d rather have chopped up a moose with it!😂
@@HeavyForge ...But there wasn't any moose out there, right? lol!
Great job!! Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
Thank you! And thanks for watching!!
Awesome, great work!
Came out great man!
Your work always impresses!

Thank you and thanks for watching!!
Dude….. freaking amazing job. Looks awesome!!
Thank you!! And thanks for watching!!
Im doing the rounds of the chopper challenge, you get a like and a subscription my friend
Cool design. The cable is a cool idea.
Silly question. The cutting edge on a dozer blade thats removable. Is that low carbon?
Yes it is low carbon. Thanks for watching!!
Great work as usual…..but when are you gonna do more wootz?😉
Thank you and I’m the coming months I plan on filming the forging process of a ingot with phosphorus.
Nice job! Why you don't put inside cutting part real blade with 1-1.2% of carbon?
Those spring steel has only ~0.6% (good for side or back, but not enough for cut blade)
Thank you! .6% Carbon is plenty for a chopping tool. 4140 makes very nice axes. Thanks for watching!
What did that spring come from? Lol.. I need one of those! Great job!
Railcar. Thanks for watching!
@Heavy_Forge I have a train spring but mine is only about 7/8 inch.. awesome build..
Sorry man... If you can accept critisim or dislike to make you a better man. then I'm sorry its not worth subing ma. Nice channel poor attatude about it.
What are you talking about?
