Eldorado Outpost Uwharrie National Forest

- The Eldorado Outpost is one of those "must stops" in the Uwharrie National Forest. It's a great place for a pit stop, get some fuel, restock on supplies. I can tell you right now it's worth stopping just for the fried chicken and potato wedges alone. Across the road is a big field where they hold 4 x 4 Overlander Rally's during the year. There is plenty of camping, hiking, horseback riding & ATV & OHV trails nearby.

Thanks Chief. Super cool place to hang out. It gets crazy when they have their Overlander gatherings. Sasquatch is still the reigning world champion in hide & seek.

No, this past week when I went on my secret camping spot trip and failed. Water at 109 was flowing pretty good this week.

I've always wanted to stop at that store. Was suppose to on our hunting trip in Nov but we went home early when my step son broke his ankle and hopped on one foot over half a mile home. Tough lil dude, future alpha male for sure!!

That's a good question, I do not know. I imagine a call to Eldorado Outpost could put you on the information. I guess my superior brain needs tweaking.

Love that place. Been there a couple hundred times. Uwharrie is a great place to get outdoors and do about anything
