  • For some parents, only the thought of going on a road trip with their children can cause a mild headache or a panic attack, but it doesn’t have to be that way. The fact is that children do need easily accessible snacks, entertainment, and other essentials while on the road, but the packing is up to you. A car seat organizer is a perfect hack for stress-free car rides - you can store all the goodies in the pockets and your children can choose when they want to use them.
You will need a sewing machine, sewing supplies, scissors, two 110x40 cm pieces of fabric, two 14x45 cm pieces of fabric, various pieces of fabric for making the pockets, and two 105 cm long chain zippers.
Take the bigger pieces of fabric and put them on top of each other, good sides facing. Sew the long edges together, leaving the top-and the bottom part open. When ready, turn it inside out. Take the two 14x45 cm pieces to make the handles. Place the handles to the open edges of the main piece, sew up the open parts while fastening the handles. Sew the chain zippers on the longer sides of the main piece. Border the edges of the pocket fabrics and sew them in place.

3:47 I love that idea for the bottom of the water bottle pocket! So much easier than sewing the curved bottom ❤️

This is a cute idea. A suggestion would be that if you sewed the zipper going upwards (where it zips up...) Then you can easier store stuff in it. (The old stuff and zip up routine! Smart idea. Thank you for sharing.
