$500 per ounce silver is really not that far away. A few things will happen. People will be confused. The price will keep rising. And silver will be used. ore then ever with less mine production and no new exploration. My bet on silver is 75% based off of supply demand. The other 25% is just FOMO.
Industrial demand would collapse much lower than $500/toz which would drive prices lower. Right now $30-50 silver is realistic. Much higher than that and demand will decrease significantly. When silver goes above $50 it will be because the USD has collapsed in value due to geopolitical events such as the BRICS unit or war.
At this point the shorts are going to be wiped out to the tune of about 1.5 billion dollars in losses. New shorts will be minimal as no one wants to take the risk. Silver to $33 in the next 3 weeks.
Gotta love Craig Hemke's humility. Despite the fact that he's obviously very knowledgeable about the precious metals market and its history, he manages to maintain a cool, down-to-earth, and unassuming posture on everything, which is the true hallmark of an intelligent individual. So if Saudi Arabia trades oil to China for Renminbi which is supposed to be convertible to gold through the Shangi hai gold exchange, are you saying that Saudi Arabia can't take the gold out of the country?
People need to get together and start a corporation to buy physical silver, put your money in and get share certificates. Would owning mining etfs vs spot paper gold/silver offer more protection if the US were to close everybody out at a low price e.g. 32$ silver instead of 50$
