Minor kicks his replicas look like they were the correct color of the authentics , but man there going to close is still a nice shoe though I like the replica one I like the Tumblr leather, but just like he says in his videos even authentics can have inconsistencies and he seen it over his course of like 20 years

The color of the pair on Stadium Goods looks like the color of the fake pair while the color of the retail pair looks more like the one on Stockx and Goat.

Hey man, I picked these up on stockx and they arrived today. I'm pretty sure they're legit and everything looks good except for the jump man back patch, the basketball is actually underneath the stitching at the top of the tongue. Its on both pairs but one has a little bit more ball showing than the other. Do you reckon its just a slight factory defect? looking through reviews it seems like the patch moves around a bit but my jumpman is actually under the stitching.
Actually just found a pair on goat used with the same issue.
I bought a pair and they came only with withe laces. It was online from a retail store in Canada. Broken boxes, scratch paper, no shoe tree, it's obviously not a new pair. The store told me that sometimes restock do not come with the same laces than the original release. I am pretty sure this is BS and no AJI Midnight Navy was release without the iconic round and blue laces. Am i wrong to think it is BS ? Sorry for the question but i am new in the ''sneakers world'' and i want to be sure before i go full beserker on them. (using the law).

I would say that either:
a) the pair that you had received possibly had the MSRP tag removed due to it almost being torn off or
b) the pair was an overseas release version and some of those don't come with the USA MSRP
Either way, this video and an abundance of other resources online can help you to double check your pairs and compare.

I was about to say the same. This is an ongoing discussion in a certain sector of sneaker youtube and there are advocates of both sides. It's scary for sure but I think one can try and do enough research to get a good feeling of what their pair is if they didn't purchase from an authorized retailer.
I wouldn’t side with fakes or UAs, if the design originated from Nike, better to stick with their products and not someone else replicating it. Even if we say it looks 95%-99% similar, the tech in the midsole is different and would surely compromise comfort and durability. I might as well just wear flipflops than wear fakes and finesse to people I have the OG pairs.
@@TPTimothyPaul I don't like or wear reps so I share the same sentiment. My problem with "UA's" or replicas are the people who will try to swindle others willing to pay the resell by saying that they're authentic. Then there are those who proclaim to send these pairs to third-party companies (StockX, GOAT, eBay, etc) for the "flip." Some just don't have morals and it's all about money. I don't care what someone else wears as I didn't pay for it. I also understand some are less fortunate financially but want to "fit in." It is what it is. I get it. So my main point on why reps are frightening is, how do we know we purchased something legit if not from an authorized retailer? Don't we need the best rep in our actual hand to compare and contrast? This problem is super complicated on a multitude of levels as there will always be a rep market to help those who couldn't cop that sneaker they wanted.

@@MarioSNEAKERS I never said that. My point is that it's a scary world out there and we all have to be careful with what we buy. There are people who go across the water like you but to buy in bulk and sell as retail/authentic pairs. For me, collecting and being a sneakerhead purist doesn't tempt me to go across the water.
While I don't agree with egregious resell prices on the market, it's ultimately up to the consumer to resist the urge to pay that or move on. Not everyone is capable of that and that's okay. Some people like yourself may go and buy a rep and that's okay. I personally don't care because I'm not one to tell you what to do with your money or choices. Salutes

Just received a fake/UA pair from GOAT. They looked off when I got them. Shoe paper was the regular brown paper, no stamps in the box, Chinese stamps on the outside label and midsoles via black light. Inside shoe label was off, as well as the smell of the shoe and overall appearance. Had them legit checked. 100% fake. What a damn shame.
