If you use an Android TV then you should already know that Puffin TV Browser is the best out there. Not only it is easy to use but also has a unique feature. Puffin TV Browser can download files. This is a fantastic feature that with the latest update we lost. Puffin tv not working and I'm not really sure why this happened. Fact is that now if you try to download something on any Android TV device like the Nvidia Shield TV, Xiaomi Mi Box S, Mecool Km9 Pro, etc you will get a Download Error. The message displays is "not supported download is not supported on this device yet".
We can fix this easily by installing an older version of Puffin TV Browser back to our devices.

How to Fix the Download not Supported Issue on Puffin TV Browser for Android TV:
- First we need to uninstall Puffin TV Browser
- Then we need to disable the Auto updates, we do not want Puffin TV to update again to the latest version
- Next, download the app Downloader from Google Play
- Enter dimitrology.com... and install this version of Puffin TV Browser
- FIXED!
With this method we install a previous version of Puffin TV Browser when the download function was still available. That is why we need to disable auto-updates from Play Store so that the app doesn't update again.

Actually the older version of Puffin wouldn't load for me, but it doesn't matter because it turns out we can just use the browser that's built into the Downloader app instead, so you still solved the problem for me. I can finally play Silent Hill on my PS1 emulator. Good man. Subscribed

Demi, firstly, many thanks for all your efforts, in bringing us the best of Streaming services. I've tried 5 times to install Puffin on my Nvidia Shield. Yes it appears very briefly on my TV, but within 2 seconds, it "flashes" on and off! Continuesly? What's the problem?? I followed your instructions exactly! I have it on my Firestick, no problem! Luv it! Please help! Traolac. P.S. Everything else works perfectly on my Nvidia.
At this point i would recommend, before uninstalling Puffin to clear also cache and data. Then restart the Shield and install as in the video again. Let me know if that solved that.

every time i want to watch or download a movie i get the message to select the cache folder.

IT'S 3 YEARS LATER. (Oct 2022) I HAVE NOT DOWNLOADED PUFFIN... YET. Should I bother downloading the Puffin Browser from the Play Store or should I go directly to your Web site before I bother with Google's version of Puffin?
Hi, using this method on nvidia geforce it doesn't let you install aptoide from your webside. Instead it says: " For security reasons on you phone you're not able to install applications from this store".
Update: Got it to work enabling in puffin browser settings.

I did all of the things and when I'm trying to entered the older puffintv, it has a connection problem and after a few seconds of connecting a massage pop to the screen.
"Saved connection log to: /storage/emulated/0/puffin.log
Please send log to ua, we'll try to resolve it."
