It's amazing that Hana can speak fluent Filipino and Bisaya. 🙌 Seungha knows some words too, and might be fluent in no time. Like Ryan Bang said, if you love the Philippines you should learn Filipino language. Haha.
But of course another reason to learn the language is so it's easier to communicate with the locals. Though Filipinos speak English, it'd be great to learn and speak Filipino. 😊

may kaklase akong koryana noon na 10 yo siya mula nanirahan dito at fluent na siya sa tagalog after 5 years. same lang sila ni jessica ng situation. so hindi lang talaga siya nag effort mag aral ng tagalog, lalo't english daw kadalasan salita ng mga tao sa paligid niya.

By the way, my eldest daughter is also called Hannah. She is now studying in university here in Singapore.

Leaving my 3rd comment, cos I watch the vlog 3 times already 😂. Boo is like an endearment, because filipinos have a lot of endearment in a relationship. There's boo, short for bebu or baboo which is a cute version to call someone "baby or babe" ,there's also baba, same lang ng bebu and baboo, cute version to call someone "baby or babe", there's also YAM an abbreviation of "You Are Mine", there's also mine like the word mine, you are mine, it's mine, ganern, basta marami pa 😂

There's a lot of vloggers who visit mindanao. Wala lang East Asian or other Asian kamo, but Western tourists have been here so many times that them the reason to say in the country & there's even someone who got his filipino citizenship bc of his passion & love to the country. He's even so dedicated to present Mindanao. 🇵🇭

Hi Hana, actually the locals in Davao region or in davao provinces, and davao city are speaking the Cebuano language or Bisaya. The Cebuano language originated in Cebu and it is widely spoken in the visayas region and mindanao region, in fact it is far more widely spoken in the Philippines than any other language.
TMI: Y*wa actually means devil. That's the direct translation of that word. So if you say “ y*wa ka!" it's like you're cursing on someone on extreme level. But somehow, it became like a common expression. I suggest don't use it too often 😅 Words are powerful. Try to ask your friends from Bible study. They can explain it more.
