They could have use the MV scenes for the photoshoots. Like Jisoo in the flowers, Rosé in the bathtub, Lisa on the building and Jennie in the car. Or maybe the 1st chorus scene, the one which wrote Born Die Alone or something else in the background, then the 2nd chorus scene, the one in the supermarket and Last But Not Least, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ONE, THEM IN THE CAR IN THE LAST CHORUS! Any one of the one I listed is much more prettier than a white background.
I COMPLETELY agree with you, but I think if you watched the bts (not the group lol) they were complaining in the Born To Die Alone (or whatever its called) scene that it was really cold and I think it would be been hard to do a whole photobook in those outfits outside in october

Who else wishes that YG gave the girls more interesting photoshoots for this album. I love them and they look great, but I feel like minimal effort was put in from YG, they are literally just in front of white or colored back drops in a studio 😕 and three out of four albums had almost no color in the photos....

I see people trying to summarize the concepts of pbs, and here's my thought.
Ver.1: professional beauty, like everything is tidy
Ver.2: casual/natural beauty
Ver.3: innocent/natural beauty
Ver.4: creative/colorful/artistic beauty
I really like v2 and v4 photobooks but I prefer black matte covers because I would get tired of shiny/reflective ones after a while even though they look amazing at first glance. Plus, black as a basic tone with decorating pink gives me the same vibe of blackpink, badasses outside and cuties inside. Stan blackpink

The packaging is obviously better than their past ones, but the photobook is still basiliar. But all the songs on this album are bops and that's the important for me🙃

I think it's kinda like an "inside joke" since literally everyone has been waiting BP to make an album for four years. Well, not really a "joke", but hopefully you get what I mean. It's kinda like when there's a series that was made into a movie the title would be "Pinocchio: THE MOVIE". But I do expect this album to have more meaningful name or something :/

honestly, it looks like one whole set of outfits but separated in four versions. They should've utilized more of the outfits and visuals from the music videos for the first three versions and the last one as it is.
At least YG isn't greedy on the contents. For example, with most BTS albums you only get a photobook and a random pc 😕 not to mention that photobooks are half black pages

A lot of you guys are being clowned into thinking yg is serving minimalistic looks for the artistry. It's their first full length album so they probably know fans will pay loads anyway for low effort and cost. I mean some of the outfits are jeans and a top against a white background. What... right💀hers is just right like she doesn't talk to loud or talk to low, she doesn't scream or fangirl to where it's annoying but she does it to where u know she's atleast a fan and entertained. it's rare for it to be perfect like that for unboxing channel's. plus she doesn't treat her items that harsh.
Why does the photo book look like a magazine shoot for whatever brand their endorsing individually 😭 i wish they had a photo shoot that gave a hint of what the vibe of each song would sound like, I mean you literally have to go through the photo book before listening to the cd, I wish if they added never seen photos from the LSG Music video. 1. a ALL BLACK / DARK concept
2. a ALL PINK / BRIGHT concept
3. a BLACK / PINK concept (where two members wear black, and two members wear pink)
4. the colorful concept (its my favourite version and they should keep it that way)

I was considering buying the album (because they were so thick and that excited me) even though I'm not a Blink or really Blackpink fan (I support, I just don't listen often), but the photobooks kind of disappointed me ngl. The fourth is my favorite, but again - concepts look pretty similar and I don't like how they didn't really use the whole page(s) for most of the photos.
Cards and post cards are very cute though, I like them.

I really like the packaging of the 3rd version but I prefer the 4th one for the photobook and photocards. One of my friends asked me which I wanted for my birthday and since she has the 4th one I think I'll ask her the 3rd one even if I find the 4th one better..🙃. Am i the only one who like this concept so much? i know that some of photobook in diff vers have the same similarity but that doesnt mean it looks same i think (?) cuz when i look at the other unboxing video, i like this simplicity of them with black and white outfit, i thought that they are really giving me the cool vibe and the members really shine in their own way for this era. I've bought 4 vers + LP vers, so im excited to wait my album, and beside that the song for the album is really great for me.

I think this album is best for people who only buy one version because usually different versions of albums are so different that you kinda get like a fear of missing out but with this album the concepts are so similar that you can just buy the one that fits your taste the most, if you get what I mean, I’m kinda happy about that because I can’t buy all four, I could only buy one so in that way it was easier for me to pick which version without feeling like I still want the others. (Sorry just to be clear I’m not hating on people who have all four or want all four I’m just saying that it’s easier for people who only want one version 😊)

@@anujavaze7602 I know right, I think everyone should just be happy and think positive about the album rather than complaining about things, sometimes people are just never happy, for years everyone wanted a full album and then when the girls finally release it everyone moans that it’s not good enough or that the concepts are too similar. But what people need to realise is the whole reason that the photo shoots are not the lovesick girls concept is because lovesick girls is not the title track, there is no title track because the album includes all their songs from this year, how you like that, ice cream and lovesick girls are all title tracks, that’s why they went for just a blackpink concept so that it fits with all the title tracks not just lovesick girls. So everyone please just be happy for them.

Thank you for the unboxing! Came here because I want to buy the boxset of Born Pink but figured I don’t want to own Born Pink without owning The Album as well. So I’m here to see which version I’ll be picking. Also, I agree with you that it’s unfair to have target exclusives, I’m from The Netherlands so for me it’s also impossible to get one of those, I feel ya 😂

i don’t know why but I really don’t like their outfits for version 3 but i already ordered version 3 from ktown4u and it’s probably the only album ill ever get till i am old enough to find a job. this is just sad. and i also hope i get rosé pulls because she’s my bias. im from Australia and ktown4u is like the cheapest I can get the album for at $60 and jb hi fi sells them for $100.

I am also Australian I did extensive research on which site to use and I use “yes Asian” but they don’t always have everything and I haven’t seen the prices for these albums but for a large number you can save 30+ dollars.
i’m from australia and trust me buy from either “house kindred”, the owner is really nice or k-pop time (a melbourne australian company), i’ve never ordered from k-pop time yet but i will soon bc it’s the cheapest i’ve ever found albums but i ordered a bp album from house kindred and its coming soon so i recommend those places bc it’s way cheaper!!! also they’re both australian :) hope this helps
There’s a UK online based store that I use, shipping is £14 for European countries and £23 for everywhere else. I buy from them all the time, I’ve never had a big problem (only ordered the wrong version by accident) and Patrick from the customer service team is great 👍
