Rivets were tight, and the top cover didn't wiggle barely. I loved my PCC Russian Vityaz clone. I put an Omega 45K on mine, and it's so comfortable to shoot with accuracy for 9mm excellent. I bought mine early within a year of announcement, mainly on your advice, Tim. Never failed me yet.

I bought a KR103 non folder almost 2 years ago from my local shop, had a nice straight front sight, everything tight the way it should be. Gun is accurate and 100% functional at over 1000 rounds of steel case, and any/every mag I've tried has worked perfectly. Last year I picked up a Blem KP9 directly from K-USA and it sadly wasn't as great an experience. I won't go through the whole list, but other than the coating being seemingly unfinished, the safety had a peg left in it from when it was made that would scrape the trigger spring right off the reset, requiring the disassembly to put it back on (easy fix, but still sad to see). I sill support them, and I hope w/e is going on there gets resolved. Thanks for the vids, Tim!

I have an early KP9 (SBR'd) and an early KR 103SFS. Both have been very good shooters. Customer service at KUSA was pretty good as well. My KR 103 had a piston that wasn't dimpled to the bolt carrier, so it could unthread by hand. I assume it didn't get caught during QC. Anyways, KUSA took take of it in just a few weeks. They also took care of a cosmetic issue that I pointed out at the same time. Their customer service was also quick with upgrading the firing pin on my KP9 bolt (look up out of battery issues with the KP9 due to the original firing pin design; although my example never had issues).
All in all, I'm sad to see them go out of business. They were the only company that produced a bunch of Russian AK 100 clones at a decent cost. Yeah, PSA has their own thing (which I've never owned), but they aren't the same as 1:1 Russian clones. I was hoping for some AK 74Ms at some point. Guess that's a pipedream now. Hopefully someone can get them back into business.

I bought a very lightly used KR9 a few months ago. I put a Holosun red dot on it and it is very accurate. Mine is missing the faux suppressor shroud, but otherwise it’s identical to yours. So far, I have put 250 rounds through it and there have been no issues. The 10 round banana mags convert to 30 rounders in less than two minutes. I plan on adding a left side charging handle, and the trigger seems to be good. The only problem I am having is my example will not lock the magazine in with the bolt forward. You must have the bolt to the rear in order to get the magazine all the way into lock. If I can find a buffer, I will install it. Maybe if the bolt would lock back, the magazine loads would go more smoothly. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with this pcc and plan on keeping it around. I am interested in input on this rifle from other owners.

I actually had no idea about this and put my KR-103 up for sale today, might be dumb of me for doing it but I don’t care about losing money if it goes up in value, great gun though and I always had a blast with it I hope KUSA comes back bigger and better

I've got a KR103 SFS with chf barrel and I've had zero issues from it. I really love it and hate they're out of business. The pornstar really messed up a lot of their customer relations i know that for sure. I was hoping they could bring it back around

That and that weird collab they tried to do with Jesse James to sell CA compliant guns where they cut up old K98 Mausers and attached the stock to a KR103. I am completely convinced almost the entirety of their problems were managerial. They were developing a hell of a product line.

I remember hearing that KUSA got in some kind of trouble with the "AFT" for some reason. I can't remember what the exact reason was... but I wanna say it had something to do with non transferables or something of that nature.

I literally just looked at KUSA’s website, and there are NO parts available for the KP9.
I searched the internet for ANYONE that has basic parts, like firing pin, extractor, springs, etc…, and no one has parts 😢

@@donwyoming1936 There's pending litigation right now as far as I've seen, bankruptcy might actually be good for them, they're a top heavy company and need restructuring, maybe some investors who are better businessmen will take over. At this point they can't get any worse lol.

My first ak was the kr103, several months later I got the kp9. Both have been great firearms and have had no problems. I was anticipating the kr101, but this happened…so I got the galil g2 5.56. Unless they come back, I’m sticking with the imports. I WILL NOT BUY PSA AK’s

I am wondering if the whole brace controversy did them in. I would imagine they sold a lot of Komrad 12's...just a thought. They also did not offer much support when one would inquire about anything they were doing about the whole thing, and to check on any work arounds that they might have had available.

KUSA wood furniture AK's are incredibly beautiful, but gun show prices are $1400 in the Midwest. Couple that with looming scarcity of 7.62x39 and I can see why they may go out of business.

I bought a kp9 3 months ago and sbr'd it. Invested alot into after market stock and rail. It would not run anything other than round nose 9mm. After 300 rounds the bcg seperated and the recoil spring is damaged. Ofcourse kusa closed the doors and now I have a sbr paper weight. Any ideas on what I should do?

Yeah KUSA... I emailed about my brand new KP9 and mentioned I was getting light strikes on 9mm reloads which had hard primers and said I understand that is probably EXPECTED, but asked if a heavier hammer is an option or not. They told my my warranty was now VOID because I was shooting reloads. I absolutely LOVE the gun but customer service sucked. But hey my gun is now collectable!
