- We turned up the volume on our 2021 F-150 EcoBoost with a brand new AWE catback exhaust and an S&B cold air intake. AWE's exhaust manages to pull a deeper growl from the 3.5L V6 while the S&B intake lets you hear the turbos work their magic when you're on the throttle.

I've got the S&B intake, the CARB legal version. There's really no difference between the CARB legal version and non-CARB legal version except the dry or wet filter. California... Anyways, it lets the good noises come through including mild blow off valve sounds and when you're on boost it'll let the whistles and snorts pop through. I love it! Easy installation too, but I'm a mechanic by hobby so it was simple for me in my opinion. Their customer service is great too. My CARB sticker didn't come with the package like it was supposed to and they're working on getting it for me.
What’s the part number for the CARB legal version? I’d like to pick one up but I’ve been struggling to find it for myself

I would just get rid of the resonator from the stock exhaust and put a super high-quality bypass pipe in and call it a day

Question, did the AWE exhaust include the resonator? Or is it an option still?
I’m assuming since you dropped the whole stock catback, the AWE resonator/delete was installed as well.

Thanks Ryan! We are running the resonator delete that AWE includes with this kit. I think it sounds great this way and having a resonator would probably make it a little too quiet in my opinion.

I'm a little confused. This S&B system pulls air from the exact same location as the stock system. The only real difference is a cone filter. Why not just spend $50 on a high flow K&N box filter and get the same result for way less money? Is it just for a cooler look?
Astounding mpg gains for me.I went up 9 mpg afterwards from the mods.Now I get 31.6 mpg😮

You cheated and put the filter in the box before hooking up the pipe. Show how you take the filter out with everything hooked up.
That sounds like crap! Should have left it factory!
