One thing you might want to look out for is if you remember the 2 students of Mr. Satan survive in canon. So the editor cut them out of every scene in the abridged (every if it made the shot look weird) EXCEPT one short moment. It'll be interesting if you find it.
in the original Trunks went back in the chamber with Vegeta. in abridged only vegeta went in so the joke about his hair is just them acknowledging the continuity issue.
I always kinda wondered if they weren’t Call Forwarding to the fact that Krillin will let his hair grow out during the time skip between the Cell and Buu arcs, but this makes way more sense
