She's my favorite singer, not just because of her voice, but for how real she is.😊
Let us know what you think of the documentary!
I’ve grown up listening to her music, this documentary hit hard so real so emotional, complete tear jerker, she is such a beautiful soul, and this is not fair to her. I pray she gets healed from this they find a cure she is not just talented she is pure and real, and this just shows how real of a person she is.
I too was never a fan of Dion or her music but gosh this really hits home if you have ever been a caregiver to a loved one. I wish her much comfort and care.
Beautifully said, thanks for that perspective.
I’ve been a fan of Celine since her first English-language album. I saw this in the theater this past weekend. It made me cry.
It's emotional!
I watched it last night and wow... that scene towards the end was so intense and scary. How brave of her to be this vulnerable and open.. she's amazing. As a Canadian 90s kid, she was always a huge icon for me, I think "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" in particular is just one of the greatest performances of all time, still holding out hope that someday I'll get to experience it live
You really feel for her in that moment, don't you? Must be so scary when those episodes happen.
I was literally blubbering during that whole scene. I love Celine!!
Damn it! You guys convinced me to watch a Celine Dion documentary 😂
We're just that good :)
My mom sings and loooves Celine, she's gonna love this lol
This documentary is a true 10 I’ve been a fan for over 30 years. Celine has always been a consummate performer but this really shows how human she really is but that isn’t something new to her fans. we don’t care that she’s had to cancel a show due to an illness she has no control over we just want her to be happy and healthy.
It's clear how much she cares about being there for her fans! Thanks for watching.
I enjoy a few Celine songs, guilty pleasures I would call them. She can sing her ass off and knows how to perform.
I've never been a fan of her music either, but am a fan of her. After watching only clips last night. I woke up today feeling very lucky to be alive with still some good quality of life ahead of me...recurring cancer, multi treatment patient. She's inspired me.
Thank you for talking about this documentary with such sensitivity. Céline deserves sooo much love!
Glad it moved you too!
It is impressive to see such a huge star let the world see her so vulnerable. She is no ordinary person but has now been seen to be utterly unable to defend herself against her own body. That is scary as/f. LIke dementia, the body can be so cruel and take you down when something goes wrong. I pray for her and hope they can fond many others to help who have this horrific disease.
Well said. It's very sad.
I have followed her for almost 30 years. I think you need to be a Celine’s fan to reach the end of the documentary and to understand many of the footage. It reminded me other documentaries that she has done in the past, but this one was difficult to see at the end.
What did you notice that the average viewer might not?
When she talks about traveling the world but she didn’t see much (because she’s a hard working woman) when she shows her dresses and shoes this would seem frivolous (but it’s just a pleasure for her)
Yes, they were certainly clips. That fans would understand better than others. Lol.
Let's keep in mind that she was not duplicitous or deceptive they did not know what was wrong with her and her husband had cancer for 10 years so instead of taking care of herself she took care of him which is something Celine Dion would do.
That scene near the end was honestly horrifying to watch. A sad, heartbreaking, yet inspiring (seeing her persistence in this difficult situation ) documentary.
Indeed, very brave of her to share that with us.
Great review.
Greetings, Tom, Brussels.
I think there are a lot more songs in her discography that you would like outside of the ones that have been overplayed on radio. She really has a versatile arrangement of music in her catalog that I think you would appreciate. The people who don’t like her just don’t know anything about her as far as I’m concerned.
If you’re not a fan of her original music, maybe you’d like her amazing covers: “If You Ask Me To” (original: Patti Labelle), “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now” (original: Pandora’s Box), The Power Of Love” (original: Jennifer Rush) 🙂
Or you can listen her original songs
Dont save it all (for xmass day)
Tout Press The Bonner
And other ones
Lovely review
Thank you 😊
I, too, still miss R.E.M.
Like your R.E.M shirt.
It was really Hard for me to watch her crisis. I really pray for science to find a cure
This isn't about Celine.
Where is the new Bad Boys review? Strange that I can't seem to find it!
Celine is an Aries.
Good to know!
Yes....and?
Liked some of the personal moments but all the rest was slow lacking direction. I didn’t want to hear about her clothes.
Edit could have been better.
Toujours pas de traduction en francais , please
All of that praise and then just a 7.9? What am I not getting here here?
We're stingy with our 10s around here. This is a good number for us!
This should be called I am a devil worshiper
Celinunu lol
Americans... Celine is wonserfull!
Huh?
There's always that one idiot. 🙄
