- Panic! At The Disco’s “Emperor’s New Clothes” wins Best Music Video, presented by Journeys, at the 2016 Alternative Press Music Awards!
“Hello AP Awards and hello columbus. Thank you so, so much to the fans that voted. That’s phenomenal-I can’t believe it,” says Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie in his video acceptance speech. “I’m really sorry I couldn’t accept this award in person-thank you guys very much.” Panic! At The Disco are currently on tour with Weezer and couldn't attend this year's show.
Following a fan vote, the band won over fellow nominees All Time Low, August Burns Red, State Champs, the Wonder Years and Twenty One Pilots.

I'm actually a bigger fan of twenty one pilots than p!atd, but I think Emperor's New Clothes had a better music video than Stressed Out so I'm personally glad Panic! won this one.
