- MORTAL KOMBAT 12 is confirmed and so is MORTAL KOMBAT 2 (movie), the sequel to the 2021 live-action reboot film! In this video, we'll be discussing a recently surfaced casting audition for Sindel in MK2! Personally, based on what's presented in the audition and dialogue, I'm REALLY feeling what we're seeing so far. Throw in the supposed returns of a few characters that met their fate in the previous movie, things are looking good! Anyways, what do you all think of this? I hope Sindel stays true to her original story in the film wherein she is resurrected and brainwashed instead of being evil from the beginning, but we'll find out when the movie is out.
I hope they go with the OG brainwashed Sindel, and not the retconned MK11 Sindel. 😒 Also sounds like Kitana may play a big or prominent role in the sequel. Which I'm excited about, since she's my fave kharacter. Also cool that Sindel can read hands/see the future. Gives her kharacter more layers and dimension.

You think that Sindel will have a short role on the movie? I don't really like when a character appears for like 5 minutes and then doesn't appear anymore. They talk about the character in the movie but don't show the actual character anymore.

I hope she has a big part. Even in the games she should have a much bigger role considering she is literally the ruler of Edenia. She's like the Shao Kahn of Edenia but not evil (hopefully)

@@superguyMK Very true 👍, plus her and Shao Kahn are arch enemies (as established in Mk Armageddon) so hopefully they finally do something with this rivalry where we get a fight soon enough (in this film and Mk 1 and Onslaught). I will add though King Jerrod is also in that running of being against Shao Kahn since he might be just as powerful if not more than Shao Kahn (notice how in every iteration of his death, Shao Kahn always cheap shots him like he did Onaga with the poison, instead of fighting him like he would anybody else). Anyways though, hopefully NRS has learned their lesson and the real Sindel will be back and back for good, and the pretender in 11 is gone for good 🙏
She'll likely have a pretty important role in the story, likely setting her up for the Mk 3 storyline. Really hoping she gets a few shots in on Shao Kahn cause those are long over due considering everything he's done to her.
I hope they also stick to the original concept, about the chosen one liu kang...
It seems like this scene may take place in the past befor the MK21 movie. The gardener amongst flames sounds like Lui Kang, hinting at his battle with Shao Kahn.
Jade is promoted and becomes the queen of Edenia who hasn't apparently being killed during Edenia invasion... Well they adapt again... Subi and Scorp living in feodal Japan, Cole Young... Let's see

Do you have proof? That's interesting. Everywhere I looked, this was labled as Sindel and the dialogue seemed to have fit.
@@DYNASTY1031 I can't find the video of the channel, it seems to have been deleted (was posted in vimeo o something like that tagged as “oracle”, but it was explained that it was about an oracle who explains to Kitana and is the one who proposes to go to find Raiden to help him defeat Shao Khan for the invasion of Edenia (and it seems to imply that Sindel is alive, but weak or incapacitated). But now, im not sure at all.

actually if not done right - sindel scenes seem they risk being really boring unless, she is portrayed as a merciless member of shoa Kahn's army- showing true battle skills and not just a character that gonna talk you to death- her scenes have to be strategic

if they do "REMAKE" MK1 then according to the story, the "GREAT" kung lao dies, I believe killed by GORO, so the Earthrealm looses 9 MK's in a row until MK10 and then the Earthrealm warriors win the 10th tournament...RINSE and REPEAT, we need a new game, not a reboot or reimagining!!!

@@Cruisetravelers i thought it was meh bc there were many problems with it like the storytelling, fighting choreography (scorpion and subzero were the best ones), the main character, and most importantly the tournament issue. But yea, hope this movie does better.
@AznLee you right, it could have been better. But i gave it the benefit of the doubt being IT WAS SHOT DURING THE PANDEMIC! Lol seriously they had no time to really perfect the film and the story telling was (I guess) off, so that they can leave room for follow-up movies but hey, we will see this time around being that they have a new writer, bigger budget and no PANDEMIC🙏🏿
They need to get rid of the director and whoever made the first onr and start from scratch.
My only problem with her being Sindel is that she looks WAY too young. She would make a good Jade or someone around Kitana’s age.

Thank God we're getting the real Sindel back in these films (casting is weird though). Hopefully this means NRS has fully learned their lesson and the real Sindel is back and back for good, and that piece of garbage Mk 11 retcon version is gone for good.
