Both bride & groom hardly get to know each other. Even talking before marriage is frowned upon.
It's pretty common in India..even after marriage you have to cross many barrier to meet your husband. Even living with your husband is denied by in-laws ..They want bride to live with them n husband can visit after their permission .. mutual understanding can be developed in initial days but when they can't live together how it is possible...I have faced this.

You fix a date, you marry them off ASAP and then expect a grandchild within the same year. Basically expecting their child to produce and raise a child with someone they only know the name of.

I do wish the family members would ask more positive questions instead of negative questions. Everybody knows that we go through strife and relationships and it’s better and more natural to not really ask the person how they’re gonna deal with certain things because I think that a lot of the stuff the unconditional love it has to all grow first and you just have to give them a chance and only really try to get the positive things in there and the positive questions they’re supposed to be in love not to worry about certain things that family members are trying to warn them about.once you fall in love you know and you don’t have to worry about breaking up. It’s just really it could be a really great thing.
