Are you playing to a backing track that doesn't have the drum parts, or is the drum track still there but buried under your live drum recording?
Also, did you just have the song playing in your headphones, then added in after (when editing) or is the track actually playing on speakers when you recorded this?
The reason im asking is because Im planning a Scream 3 tribute drum cover for Halloween - and I want to know the best way of recording it.
I was just planning to drum along with the song cranked up on my stereo - but im not sure good that would sound via my video camera's mic. 🤷
