    Wow, I am spechless again! Bilding such a bow is hard anyway and affords an incredible amount of patience, dedication and knowledge. Brading this unbelievable long sinew cable for the backing in itself probably took hours. But doing it outsides with temperatures below freezing, I guess, ain't no picnic! Another amazing project of yours!

      Copper was used throughout the americas for thousands of years. Plenty along the northwest coast and around the Great Lakes. Bows from Baffin Island were shaped like this. The gullwing set back handle shape is pretty common in North America.

    please excuse my direct and maybe provocative sounding question, i do NOT want to offend you in any way. I am sure there is a reason why the bow has this form. unfortunately there are so many (mostly advertising) pictures with false strung (asian) bows and this bow looks exactly the same. Could you please tell me why the bows limbs are curved this way? is it due to limitation of material availability or material structure or are there other reasons? thanks for this interesting video anyway!!!!

    • @ethanpeeler3147
      @ethanpeeler3147 Před 4 měsíci +1

      Plenty of bows throughout North America were shaped like this. From the Great Basin, the plains, desert southwest, all the way to the arctic. Why it was the preferred design I don’t know. However this bow is definitely strung the right way although it looks deceiving.
