I have been listening to Bryan since the mid-late 80's. He is pound for pound one of the best singer, song writers on the planet. His songs are poinant, well written, great chord structure, and certainly one of the most pure voices ever to sing a song. He speaks very candidly on the state of the human condition and his relation to it. He is completely different than any other CCM I've ever listened to. Everyone else is too pie in the sky and happy talk for me! Other CCM's don't smack of reality to me any way. This guy does! He is is the real deal as a musician, vocalist, composer, and producer. He can stand toe to toe with anyone in music on any of these fronts christian or not. For lack of a better term, "his music has balls". Sorry if I've offended any one by saying that. I'm not much of a religious guy at all. I'm just another musician/composer that has a tremendous amount of respect for this guy as an artist. Another thing to consider is, he has been doing this for 40 years (if you count his stint in "Sweet Comfort") , and for all intents and purposes he sings about one single subject. Which is quite amazing in my book. How many way can you say, "God loves you and accepts you" before you've just flat out depleted all the ways to say it? He's been doing for a looooong time and still hasn't hit the bottom of his reservoir for adjectives, and nouns. Truly remarkable IMHO. Thanks for posting this video! Thank you very much indeed.
He has and incredible witness in Riverside California where he is from and where I live. I saw him serve God in a service at Harvest Christian Fellowship. I witnessed him cry for lost souls while singing. He is a Holy Spirit filled man of God and follower of Jesus Christ. Jesus is first in his life and everything else including his music is last place. He speaks to us in the Holy Spirit, singing to us in song, Hymns and Spiritual Songs!!!!! The world has nothing compared to his talent. He is a gift to us by God. Never get discouraged because your eternal rewards will make up for what the would could have given you 100 fold.
Truly, an anointed voice and his musicians. Bryan sings from his spirit. God has given him these songs to not only to minister to himself but all saints of God. I pray God continue to give him new songs. Thank you Bryan for your gift as you share with the world

I was early to one of his Solo concerts "Have Yourself Commitmed" Tour in about 1986 and it was just him & me. So I acted as "roadie" for an afternoon - unloaded his truck + set up merch table = what a treat I'm telling ya ! At the concert end, he hung out & chatted and did a song request from a young lady, and about 20 of us, Acapella on a Grand Piano backstage. Precious memories !
