- Starting before sunrise, this episode features trucks at work on Vater Street in Dry Creek, where the main yard for Team Global Express/Toll are located, with a number of Mercedes-Benz, Scania, and Volvo tautliner single and B-Doubles heading in and out of the yard in the darkness.
There’s also a Kenworth K200 A-Double container road train slowly turning east under pink skies, a number of bobtail prime movers passing back and forth in the early morning sun, and then the truck I’d been waiting for; a Kenworth T659 hauling Toll’s first ever permitted full-length triple road train out of Adelaide, slowly turning around and driving towards Port Wakefield Road, heading to Queensland with a load of industrial equipment, followed by a tough-sounding Kenworth K108 passing by.

Thanks 👍 Yeah hard to beat Gillman and Port Adelaide for sheer volume of trucks from all directions, but this was something different, the triple was supposed to leave earlier but took a while to sort out the paperwork for the permit.

Is TOLL Still doing Runs with their Triple Road Trains Still? Would Love to know, Because I'm planning to try and capture some of their triples on video👍
Running out of port Adelaide on ocean steamers road. Also from vater street dry creek. Multiple times per week
Yeah they will start running triples regularly out of Adelaide.
