Thank you! This helped me out. I was stuck with a non responding motor, tried all the button tricks on the controller. But the 2, 10, 2 (power plug) reset and pressing the button on the back of the controller, got it to respond.
Next step it to get it set up again in the normal way (upper/lower limits) and then finish the program mode by pressing the button on the back (blinder will jog wen finished programing)

    Hi,
I tried this resetting method, but pressing the back button or pressing the top and bottom buttons together don't jog the motor. Any help would be appreciated

just replaced a Comfy RTS motor in a Sunsetter Awning. The awning has responded to the initial programing but by getting stuck in the up position. It appears jammed. The up arrow makes the motor hum. The down arrow does nothing. When I program to reverse the motor I can get the down arrow make the motor hum. I am really frustrated, how can I un-stick the motor?

How on earth do you open the unit to change the battery? I unscrew the 3 screws but I can't get the unit open!

We still can’t get anyone to come out to fix our shades even though we are still under warranty. Bad product and worse service.

Hi Anita, the way RTS motor is powered depends greatly on the application. These instructions are for 120V AC powered motors, typically used in an awning. Please call Somfy tech support 1 (800) 227-6639 or go to www.somfysystems.com/en-us/support

@@johnm5714 the hand control is battery powered, lights on when pressed, so battery isn't dead. its very complex to open it and replace. Why so complex? no normal way to open, & might break the lid of it. The whole thing is way too poorly designed. Nothing needs to be impossible today.
