Today I demo & review the Bosch Leaf Blower (model Bosch ALB 36 li). I compare this cordless leaf blower to the Bosch ALB 18 li and to a traditional gas-powered leaf blower. How powerful is this blower? How long does the 36v battery last? I test exactly how long the battery runs at high speed and show you how this battery-operated leaf blower performs in different situations around the house and garden.

Is the 36V 2.0Ah the best battery for this blower (in term of autonomy) ?

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! To answer your question, it’s the only battery that will work with it as far as I know. The 18V battery will not fit it. The other (smaller) Bosch blower operates on the 18V battery but with significantly less power and less battery time.

I hear that it is best to buy a leaf blower with a mulch bag. What are your thoughts?

Hi AJ. To be honest I haven't used one before, so I can't say. We have a large yard, so anything that catches leaves or grass clippings is more trouble than just blowing it into an area I use for composting.

You'd save more battery if you adjusted your technique to slowly blow in one direction instead of going backwards and forwards like you do in your demo.
