    Wow, that's a massive box of records there my friend, and all for just £10, there's actually some interesting stuff in there, there's a couple of pil singles near the beginning, and a few other punk/new wave stuff, some of the dance stuff from the early 80s might be worth checking as some can be quite rare now, we watched it till the end, they all looked to be in good condition , so think you got a bargain, well done, we enjoyed this one mate, cheers Dave and Sue 😊

    Only 6 minutes in and your haul looks well worth it. Death Disco and Memories are absolute classics from Public Image Ltd. Check out their cool logo on the labels. The Manfred Mann is a four track EP. These came with picture covers and flipback sleeves in the 1960's. Enjoy!
    Edit: Just as I typed they all turned awful! 😂

    Don't know what Shriekback record that was but I will bet that you like it. You must remember "Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats. DIO must be Ronnie James Dio ex-Black Sabbath. Don't know what that was doing in there. I completed watching your full video but I had to split it in 2 parts. All I can say is it was well worth the price that you paid. You have hours of entertainment. Enjoy. You are one lucky geezer. CHEERS!!

    Death Disco is an early Public Image Ltd. song and I'd probably be in for a tenner just for that. This is an outstanding deal and from a US perspective lots of records never released here. Ten minutes later, seems like you pulled the best ones at the start!

    Most of those records are turkeys, but there is a couple of cool things.
    XTC - quirky New Wave.
    Death Disco I think is by Public Image Limited - John Lydon post Sex Pistols, fantastic dark Post-Punk.
    Monie Love - fun Alternative Rap in the vein of De La Soul.
    Jane Wielden was in The Go-Go's with Belinda Carlisle - New Wave.

    I’d love to sit down and recommend these ones to you and throw away the duds. Eruption - One Way Ticket - good pop disco song. Death Disco is by Public Image Ltd. Hard listen. Johnny Rotten’s post Pistols band. ‘Don’t Be A Dummy’ great. Was an advert for jeans. XTC are both great. Diamond Lights 😅 are Glenn Hoddle & Chris Waddle. Plenty of duds! Lonnie Gordon & Janet Jackson ones are very good. Liza Minellis one was produced by the Pet Shop Boys. Very Good. Mad World by Tears For Fears is a classic as is Doctoring The House by Coldcut. Burn it up - Beastmasters is great. Tribute is great. Brother Louie by Modern Talkimg & Timelords big hits! Jack Your Body was a number one - first house no. 1. ‘Hot Water’ is great. Superfly Guy by S Express id great. Marlene on the wall by Suzanne Vega is excellent. Big Fun by Gap Band is one of my favourites. You were too fast after that!

    • @thevinylvault
      @thevinylvault  Před 3 měsíci +1

      I would say luck however, I put so many hours into looking for records it's probably a numbers game. I generally do well but I get up early go without sleep and travel miles and miles every weekend to get around the UK. What people don't see are the videos I scrap because the records are more often than not rubbish and make boring videos. At the end of the day if you put in the work eventually you get rewarded. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment.

    phew....it nearly hurts to watch so much thrash....but there are some you could sell for 2,3 euros each (stranglers, madonna, stranglers, bob marley, XTC etc) und for a handful even more (prince, toy dolls, dio etc). but 10 pounds for them all is a steal. I think you could many of them sell for 50 pence each...
