During our parent companies film shoot trip at Kalahari Round Rock for Proslide Tech and Water Technology Inc the amazing marketing team allowed us a bonus time to film some POVs for you guys!!
Seriously this is one of the best indoor waterparks we have ever been to and should be a bucket list park for waterpark lovers. The staff is amazing, slides are world class and the indoor theme park ( separate video coming soon ) is fun for the whole family. Mind you: we didn't show off the wave pool, lazy river, private hot tub cabanas, 2 indoor/outdoor hot tubs, grotto adult indoor/outdoor hot tub, flow rider surf machine, small tots two play areas, and the activity pool; we just showed off the awesome slides. Check back this weekend for a FULL resort tour.
This is the 4th and largest Kalahari Indoor waterpark to be built in the United States.

i’ve been 3 times since they opened and i’m going my 4th time for my birthday in a few weeks, by far my favorite waterpark i’ve been to, and 1000x better and worth the money than great wolf lodge. highly recommend.

Some of these slides look so claustrophobic... I prefer the open-air ones
There not that bad, remember that camera is at the top of his head so you have like an extra foot of space

I just went today! I will write about the 4 main big water slides. This is in order from my favorite (the most exciting) to my least favorite (the least exciting)
1: 8:23 Ah, yes, my favorite! Kind of short, but very very fun! (you can only do 2 OR 4 people not 3) I think this is the most extreme one of the rafts.
2: 6:40 this slide was very short, but the drop is pretty fun! It's better with more people so you can go faster.
3: 7:21 this one was pretty rough, and this one is the one that gets you wet the most. It's fun with more people!
4: 6:06 this was kind of boring. If you have 2 people, it's pretty boring just a little bit rough. If you have 4 people, it's faster, but still kind of boring.

@@BasicDog SERIOUSLY the day before we were supposed to go, 2 tornados had touched down and blew the windows out, damaged a bunch of cars in the parking lot (mine included) PLUS while we were in the arcade and enjoying the rides they moved us to there basement where we were on lockdown for 2hrs, they gave us blankets, waters, and snacks.... it was crazy!!! We were supposed to go on a Tuesday BUT all of that happened, we stayed until Thursday hoping it would open but it didn't so we left that Thursday, then come to find out they opened Friday BUT we were long gone by then SO terrible experience FOR SURE! Pretty nice selection. Kinda confused why they don’t have a water coaster, when every Kalahari park prior has/had one. Guess it’s just a reason to expand.
Ohio got rid of zip coaster so they don’t either right now. I’m not sure why either. I agree it would have made it feel complete but I enjoy the plunge slides a lot

Hi! I'm eleven and I'm scared to go on waterslides- Anyone have any tips? I've heard too many bad stories like this kid in Dublin who flew off the slides and he broke his arm and leg! I'm terrified but I really wanna slide? How did y'all over come your fear if you've had some? Please help me!

sorry for being late but most incidents are from old parks, luckily this park released in 2020 and all rides are inspected yearly so you’ll be fine

Out of the 5 times I went on the Tanzanian twister, four of them I got hurt on. I was laying down safely, but the part where I got hurt was 2:52

Now that you've been to the two largest indoor waterparks in America, which one do you like better? This one or DreamWorks Waterpark at American Dream in New Jersey?
American dream and Kalahri are different. But I prefer American Dream just for the fact that is has the surf pool, water coaster and the slides all inside. I think kalahari has the better “new tech” from proslide such as the tornado wave and saucer style slides. American Dream waterpark is truly stunning, but this is too. It’s very hard to compare
One things for sure. No matter which one is better, you can bet their both on my list of waterparks to visit.

Are you allowed to bring lights on the rides? Or do you somehow have to get special permission

The ones at 3:04 and 3:45 drop into a 9ft deep pool, so you need to know how to swim for those

This one has much better slides than Poconos. Although there’s no water coaster currently I think the other slides well make up for it

First: you’re in chlorine which kills all bacteria and viruses

Third: some people aren’t afraid to live their lives and still can enjoy themselves while staying safe 😜
Waterparks do not seem too dangerous especially with limited capacity. The only thing is it isn’t outdoors, but I read their website and it said masks must be worn when not on an attraction. Seems decently safe to me
