🤝 About me:
I'm Anthony, I started to code when I was around 12 years old and completely fell in love with the freedom and creativity that it gaves me. Since then I went from side projects to side projects and eventually made a living out it. Today I want to share my experience with everyone and talk about what it means to be to be a developer and also stories around my projects and learnings.
I'm always up for chalenges and super curious with every new technologies. I'm working at the moment for a crypto company on a new DEFI protocol, which I find really challenging and cool.

Hope you like this day in life video, it's a hint of what working remotely means! I personally won't work in person again, this lifestyle helps me to live my life the way I want, where I want and this is priceless!
And you, are you already or are you thinking of becoming a remote worker? Let me know 😁
Quick Question. Are you French by any chance?
@@_CL0WN313 Hey there, yes I am! Why? :)
I enjoyed this video, I think it is the best one of this kind 🤣
I am a little bit jealous about your routine, I lack discipline so much that outside of work my life is a mess. Software Development drains the hell out of my brain's energy so I can appreciate how difficult it is to keep your routine running day by day, it inspired me to do better.
Good job! 🎉
Thanks man 🙏
But please, don’t think I’ve got a perfect routine! I’ve been doing really badly lately and that’s like everything in life, sometimes you slip and you get to fix yourself up and get back to where you should be!
Thanks again!
It’s actually my first time coming across your channel but frankly speaking I’m loving your videos… 👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much and welcome on my channel 🙏
Great narration and edit! Enjoyed watching your day.
Thank you so much for watching and your comment 🙏🏻
Awesome video Anthony, thanks for letting us know a bit more about your life! 😊
Thanks Sabrina 🙏🏻
Frankly one of my favourite Day in a life videos now. Very authentic. 😂😂😂
Haha I'm glad you like it that much! I had a lot of fun filming and frankly it's all 100% real 😂
Howdy 🤠 sweet vid!
I also work remotely in engineering, it isn't easy but it is awesome! You nailed the work/life balance; the struggles with cooking, exercise, and working alone and how coworking places are nice. All on point!
Lookin forward to catching your next vids, cheers!
Haha thanks for the awesome comment dude!
Definitely not easy to have a good healthy rythme, but when you do, you can have such a well balanced life!
I cannot go back to the office for sure 😂
Welcome on my channel 🙌
This should have more views. Love the London life view
Thanks Maria, London life is really amazing but it’s quite expensive tho 😂
Welcome on my channel!
Great video, Anthony! Thanks for sharing!
Cheers from Brazil!
Thanks Eduardo, I'm happy that my content is also being watched in Brazil! I'm gonna brag about it to my Brazilian friends 😂

Hey Max thanks for your comment it means a lot! I'm planning on doing more video about remote worker challenges and how to face them!
Welcome on my channel :)
@@anthony_riera Hey Anthony, to be honest I was pretty blown away at the quality of the video considering you only have 600 subs. I think you will really go far! Kind regards and kudos on the great work✌
@@maxmatthewsmusic Thank you so much for your support it means a lot!
My growth is pretty slow flor the moment, but I try to enjoy the process as much as I can, one video at a time haha!
Cool video. I like this vlog.😁
Thanks man :D
Great video
Thanks so much for watching 🙏🏻
Too honest with the ending man HAHAHA, I never have problems with going to sleep easily as this is my hack as well and it works like a charm ALWAYS! Loved the video especially the complete honesty in it HAHAHAH, try to have some different meals tho brother, you only have one life man, make sure you treat yourself to something good at least once a week. Take care brother. Much love from Malaysia!
Haha thanks for this good comment dude!
Honesty is key to build trust with a new audience and I think that it's just a normal human thing to do so why not laugh about it 😂
Take care too 🙏🏻
Great video, I'm in my final year of my degree in computer science and am an aspiring software engineer, have you got any advice for how to get a job in software?
Hey Lewis thanks for your comment 🙏
Well, my advice would be to try to have a competitive edge compared to the others developers, having your diploma is really nice and kudos for that, but I think that having some sort of personal project to show off during interviews is really key!
You need to show that you know how to code a product and you already went hands down on a project 😊
Good luck with that, my next video will actually talk about that 👀
J'ai fait une belle découverte aujourd'hui, keep going 🚀
Merci pour les paillettes dans ma vie Kevin ! 🙌 (j’espère que tu as la réf haha)
Awesome video man! I'm a cs student in my third year. I want to know, what moisturizer with sunscreen do you use? I'd be on the computer screen a lot too :/
LMAO 😂 You need the strongest one in the market, trust me you'll stare at this thing a whole lot
Definitely 😂 I realized the more you progress the more you stare at it. Thanks!
I love how honest you are, are the french very honest?
Haha thanks! I guess like everywhere on this planet, you have honest and dishonest people! I don’t believe it’s location based 😂
But I personally like to be honest and not fake anything, everything can be checked and verified nowadays 🤓
Great video ! keep doing lots of love from india ❤
Thank you so much! New videos coming up soon!
The ending tho :D
I’m glad you liked this detail, but I wanted to be real, it’s part of day too 😂
never has a youtube video ending caught me this off-guard lol
😂😂 I’m glad it did then

Hey there! My next video is actually on how I became a software engineer and particularly how I got my web3 job! It will be released soon 🙌

Don’t tell anyone 🤫😂

Travailler sur le sol c’est pas très ergo. Super :)
Pas du tout, je ne pense pas que ce soit recommandé par mon kinésithérapeute 😂
Merci pour le commentaire 👋
Monster!
Thanks for your endless support dude 🙏
Fantastic angles, whose holding the camera? Cinematic like Coppola movies, you have a natural thoughtful eye sight gift, editing is different from that of an “Asian “ software engineer the difference is you treated this video as if I was watching a movie. Me commenting as a random software engineer mom, yes I know about poly, mono ,bazel and time scale database stuff
WoW thanks for this comments it’s really kind of you! I put a lot of efforts on the angles I’m glad you spotted that 🙌
Looks like the actual story started after reading the book 😆
😂😂😂
What are those supplement pills? Nice vid 👍
Hey Dave! Thanks for the nice comment 🙏🏻
I just added a link in the description, it's an affiliate link but we both get a 20% discount if you want to try them 😁
How comes you've been kept your French accent? It's awesome :)
I guess I can't really get rid of it! But I don't think that it bothers anyone, it's part of me now 😂
love the saying im not the saltiest peanut will definitely be using it haha
I love it too 😂😂
no, but I need to know what's your white theme for VSCode please Anthony :)
😂 one of the only people asking for it!
This is the light mode from GitHub theme on VSCode (love their dark mode as well!)
@@anthony_riera I use their dark mode, never tried the light mode tho. If you work in a sunny place like me light mode works best, they just don’t get it buddy
your actually so funny mate, I'm studying computer science and sometimes the people around me seem like they don't have a soul but if SWE like you exist then I will be fine ha ha
Haha thank you so much for such a cool comment dude! No worries, SWE aren’t all weirdos, there’s a lot of fun a cool people in the industry!
Have fun 🤘
that awesome... which part of london do u leave
Thanks Michael! I live in Elephant and Castle, which is south east London!
@@anthony_riera that awesome. am working to relocate to london
@@sneigee That's awesome, London is an amazing city, it's really expensive tho 😂
@@anthony_riera Agreed.London is expensive. 😅😅am hoping l will get a good tech company to work with. so that the salary will be cool there. what do you think about the apartment? Anthony. l mean 1 Bedroom apartment or 2 Bedroom apartment with my own washroom and Kitchen and hall
Well prices is all about where you live! I’m living in central London and rent are crazy here
You should expect something like 1000-1600£/month minimum for a flat share
Zone 2-3 are less expensive obviously but you’ve got to cope with commuting then
Do most software engineers use apple or windows?
Most of the one I know yes, but coding can be done on any platform!
You only need a mac if you wish to code apps on Mac or iPhone 😁
@@anthony_riera what’s your preference between the two and why?
I'm on mac! I love how fast they are, clean, never bug and also all my creative process is on there!
I don't game at all so for me it's a no brainer ;)
I liked the cheese part lol...
Cheese is life isn’t it? 🤩
the console log tho 😭😂
😂
"I take a French shower" since when do the french shower?
That was all the point of the joke!
But yeah I take showers every day 😂
@@anthony_riera Oh, thank God. Good frenchie!
do you speak french?? Nice video
I do, I’m French but I live in London 😊
@@anthony_riera cool. force a toi.
@@regisatemengue Merci beaucoup 🙏🏻

I’m glad it made you smile 😂
