I just want to say, ppl who are trying to justify murtasim's action are really disturbing
About the slap & spit, ( she didn't actually spit though) the writer said she only added that scene to justify murtasim's action
No one can justify his act after what he had done no matter what happen however spitting and slaps is also not correct

Haya was thrown out of the house as well and only brought back to get her married. Murtasim is the one who agreed to her marriage in front of her. Murtasim has told her multiple times that he does not see her like that before marriage and after that, has told her he loves Meerub as well. Has always defended Meerub in front of her. When they went to the village, which should not have happened, but all he was talking about on the way was Meerub. I do agree he was lenient with Haya in many places, but nothing close to revealing about the contract. Also Meerub was sent to her parents house because she deceived Murtasim and broke his trust, irrespective of what Haya or MZ did. He has never entertained Haya with the intent to make Meerub jealous.And there was a scene where Murtasim slaps Haya, not sure exactly there, but both Sabeena and Wahaj did not want to do it. Also if you do not expect Meerub to love Murtasim, do you support her getting so angry at him over this that she spits on his face? What is the reason for her insecurity in the first place if she wants to leave that place anyway. The slap I will let go because he did slap her himself before. It is not the first time either, she started accusing him of infidelity in front of that woman and her children as well. So disrespectful to have this conversation in front of other people.

Atleast this time I was expecting him to give a tight slap to Haya. But Murtasim has never gained Meerab's trust regarding Haya.
