- How to Make Lyric Videos With Canva Layers (Updated 2023 - Step by Step Guide To Using Layers). In this video I’m going to show you how you can make a simple lyric video with Canva using their new Layers feature. This makes the process much easier.
Now that Canva has added layers it’s much easier to add lyrics or ANY text captions on top of a video. I’ll show you step by step in this video.

Can I change the video after I have created the whole lyric video without the lyrics being messed up ?
I think it should be okay as long as there's another vid and the audio stays the same but i'm unsure .
Also how do I go about it especially if its different vids for example?
Do I just drop it on top of the existing and replace it ?

When I edit something (text or clip) the play button always loads, and it takes 5 seconds. It is so annoying. Anyone else with this issue?

Good question. I did try it and it didnt work for the text elements.
What do you do if you have a lot more lyrics? You can’t fit them all on the screen..
So bear with me. To make the video the full length of the song, you would need to drag the bar showing the audio out to the length of the song first? Then add video. Then you would have to add all the lyrics on that first page before you populate the lyrics or do you keep adding sections? I've never used canva for video and have never made a lyric video. Hello, I'm back with feedback. So you just keep adding a page on the side on the video and then you can add your preferred vid and then add the lyrics for that page & duration of the song.

This is great, but I wonder... can you add more than one video and not just loop that one clip over and over?
The "SHOW TIMING" doesn't show when i click the 3 dots on the text =( any idea why? or has canva moved that somewhere else?

I don't think so.. I've made one video with canva and i don't recall there being a (visible) watermark
There's is no show timing option in mine when I follow the steps. :(

I thought I was doing something wrong the lyrics were all jumbled together! This gives me reassurance it won’t download that way . I like canva a lot but it’s a bit different from other programs/software when making videos

I used the pro account for this. If you upload your own music there won't be an issue. As with all music if you dont have the license then you might have issues.
my video is 2;47 min long but i cannot see all the layers like you at 3:58
Can't select all lyrics. It drags the video. EDITED: Use CONTROL+A to select all
This is easy, but how to bring into my videos the music I like, let's say from Utube...does Canva allowed it ...thank you
Yes, you can add any music into Canva for editing Before you upload a video to CZcams, you must get the rights to all elements in your videos including any music.
@Learn With Seb thanks so much for your lectures, added me few skills definitely 👌...yes, I understand about rights, however, I used my premium membership and put available Vivaldi in Canva for my Art Video, I put on FB and they immediately wrote me about copyright and asked to delete video
@@milatroytsky8596 In Canva, you need to connect your social account to activate a 1 time license to use a song from Canva. Whewn you click the share button, underneath the Download button there is a link to connect your social account. I do this for CZcams. Not sure about FB.

Is there a copyright strike for this type of video?
Not if you create videos for your own music or if you own the copyright. You'll probably have issues if you upload other people's music as with any music on CZcams.
