This has to be up there as one of the worst losses in Notre Dame's history. Syracuse was one of the worst major conference teams in all of college football that season. This was one of only two FBS games they won, they weren't competitive in most of their losses and they had already fired their coach who was just coaching out the string.
Antwon Bailey had an unbelievable game, what a baller. Also , Cam Dantley was a walk QB who played his ass off. What a great win , in an otherwise miserable season for the Cuse.
How Charlie Weis wasn't fired after this game, much less this season, I'll never know. Dude lost to a team that finished with 10 losses against a coach who was already served his pink slip.
