Victims have included a dishwasher in Florida, a glass company in New Jersey, a carpet company, a plumber, 48 waiters, dozens of bartenders at his resorts and clubs, and even several law firms that once represented him in these labor lawsuits. We speak to Steve Reilly, an investigative reporter and data specialist for the USA Today Network. His new exclusive is called "Hundreds Allege Donald Trump Doesn’t Pay His Bills."

Exactly...this is a deliberate strategy to get out of paying his debts or of forcing the contractors to settle for lower payment in order to avoid legal fees...there is a video of a former Trump supporter who's friend committed suicide because Trump shortchanged him by 2 million dollars. The sooner he is jailed the better.

How is any regular person supposed to find justice in the system when most of the time it bankrupts them due to lawyers fees, or they can't even afford one to bring charges when wronged? This system is not the US I thought I was living in and learned about when growing up.
I've worked on both sides of this argument and I can tell you that from a contractors perspective you never let a financially larger client rack up to much debt as they know that you'll fold under the weight of the legal fees to recoup the debt if they decide not to honor the debt. Large financial clients should always be dealt with on a progressive payment contract consisting of time to pay and limits on the amount of debt they can incur to avoid this situation. If the client isn't prepared to pay progressively as the work is done then you should be wary of why and question if it's worth the risk. Usually the answer is no.
I've been a skilled artisan all my working life and not one customer in 40 years has ever withheld even a penny because they were disappointed with the quality of my work, or the attention and service I provide.

There is a perfect example of a person who did as he pleased. Then without having to deal with consequences, this man's pride and ego grew so much. Maybe he was going bankrupt or had low reserves and couldn’t pay. Either way working as a laborer I’ve been screwed out of money owed by FAMILY, again because they were going out of business since they themselves had big customers fail to pay. Why? A recession. So I learned my lesson so next time I demanded cash EVERY day after work and he paid it.

The unions in NY I heard, actually refused to do the building demolition/renovation (maybe they knew something the public did NOT, back at the time), so Trump "sent for foreign workers" who he knew would not protest poor wages, or as it turned - out NO WAGES AT ALL.
