Giving a 👍for this video! Good simple build for an accurate circle jig. Very useful! One suggestion-these drawer pins have a lip that causes the circle blank to “pivot” somewhat as it is turned. A slight countersink on each pin hole would allow the lip to sit flush with the jig. This would insure a “square” edge all the way around the circle.
Great idea, Mike. I'm thinking this would be a great addition to the older style cast iron table band saws that cannot use the circle cutting attachment that is currently offered for the newer aluminum tables.
Thanks Mike, I also have a question. I purchased a power pro a couple of years ago when we moved to Idaho, and due to family illnesses I'm just now getting it up and going. You mentioned some of the tips you will be giving at the seminars. Are those tips on a seperate video that I can watch, since I already have the Mark 7 PowerPro? Jeff W in North Idaho
The jig works perfectly as we saw. My purchased jig, the indexing pin must be perpendicular to the leading edge of the tooth and the cut line. Yours seems to be well ahead of the cutting edge of the blade. Wouldn't this difference affect the radius of the circle? I'm confused.

Mike what's you thoughts on the ShopSmith circle cutting jig. I've tried it a couple of times with poor luck.
The home made ones work better!
How big of a circle can you cut?
