A lot of the scenes in this animation shows various moments that we cherished, like the scene in 1:47 Moona crying while consoled by Iofi I think it's a reflection of the 2020 Iofi Freetalk stream when Moona feeling down for not being able to communicate properly because of the language barrier, Risu joined later in the stream. It is one of the most memorable moment in HoloID.

@@Hagaren333 Kiara had gotten a once in a life time year long working Visa for Japan after spending years off and on trying to gain a foothold in the idol or cosplay industry. That year with the working Visa was her last ditch effort to really put all of her time into that goal before giving up on the dream entirely. That year was 2020.
Stuck in an apartment on lockdown, she was isolated from everyone and everything, not even able to return home. A stranger locked down in a foreign country. Still she tried, but what idol or cosplay group was really active that year? She discovered Hololive during her time in isolation and the streamers kept her company. And then later that year, Hololive happened to be hiring. It was a Hail Mary. Just look at her now.

概要欄を見るとアニメーション制作がスタジオKAIさんなので、ウマ娘を手掛けた制作会社さんですね。
The fact that they put all those real-life unscripted moments into the MV really goes to show that they want to capture the talent's true feeling and struggle in their journey until they made it here today.
All those moments are what make this MV so close to our hearts, as we experienced it first hand when those moments happened.
And at 1:47, they even referenced Iofi's stream background from that moment as the wall.
Jup and that's why i think a hololive anime would work less well. It would still be cool to see, but the real power of Hololive comes from these unscripted, real moments that we shared with them.
And this is clearly why it's impossible to separate the talents from the characters!
The experiences that shape them up in and off-stream, with each other and individually, all is reflected in their performance and whatever is captured while streaming becomes a core bonding moment between the talent, audience and other members and staff!
That's also why a graduation is particularly painful, because the duality of character and talent is gone for good, even if we continue supporting the talent behind the model, things can't go back to the way they were and that is the loss to grief

The scene from 1:47 I think refers to Iofi Free Talk Stream in November 29 2020, where Moona feeling down because of language barrier with HoloJP members, Iofi consoles her and later Risu joined and they make a wholesome impromptu collab for Moona. It is one of the most memorable moment in HoloID history showing the strong bond of the first gen.

Moona and Iofi looks so gorgeous in this MV. Also the part when Iofi comforts Moona, that hits differently. I followed them back in early 2021, glad to see them growing up until this moment 💚💜
