Graco Magnum X5 Won't Prime

Graco Magnum X5 Won't Prime. Graco Magnum X5 pump will not prime. If your paint sprayer won't prime the solution to your problem may be simple. Most consumer grade paint sprayers have an inlet valve and an outlet valve. If one or both are not functioning properly the paint sprayer will not prime or build pressure. Paint sprayer won't work.

I've seen videos recommending cleaning the valve on the front of the machine, but this is the first video I've seen recommending cleaning the ball valve on the intake tube.
An hour later and both my Graco's are spraying again.Thank you! By the way...I have a working used Graco paint sprayer for sale. LOL

100% on point. From manufacturing, mine had a small residual piece of the metal suction screen come off and block the check ball on tge second prime attempt. I was ready to return it until i found your fix; thanks for that.
Question. I'm thinking about going to HD and getting some 5/8 clear tube identical to the suction line, but having it go straight down into a gallon can, but just long enough to keep it an inch off the bottom of the can rather than use the long tube. Figure it might save paint, and i could swap the long tube over to clean it. Any opinion on this?
