The head of an audrey 2 like that one isn't very heavy its made of a lightweight foam and frame that can be manipulated quite easily the tricky part is to get the movements to sync with the voice actor
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! Everything from the design, mobility, and voice of the plant was perfect! Seymore was great too but whoever operated that plant deserves an award
THis is the best one i've seen. The others don't time the plant's mouth right and the voices don't harmonize to me but this one was just perfect.I especially like Seymour's voice.
I️ loved that his legs were in the vine things and the puppet was amazing! Moving around like that so much must have shed off a few pounds during the whole process ;) 😂
You're consistent! Bill Remington was also the "STAR" of the LSoH revival on Broadway!! ( Told me I'm his favorite....) SHHHHH....let's keep this to ourselves... ;)
Both your and Seymour's vocals were startlingly good! Especially after Orin and Audrey's dialogue, (which just so happens to be my favorite part.) Incredible work.
The puppeteer also puppeteered Audrey II in the 2003 Broadway Revival. The puppet is designed by some of the people for the National Tour. The voice was done by someone coached by the guy who performed Audrey II's voice for the movie. (RIP to both, Maxx Mann and Levi Stubbs.)
Fan-Tas-Tic. One of the best "Feed Me" versions I have seen here on YT. Vocals were great all around on this one. No complaints. Extra thumbs up to Mr. Mann for his performance of Audrey II. This part definitely calls for someone with a solid soulful voice and you nailed it. BTW, was this a tour production? local theatre?
My favorite musical, and my favorite song from it. The 1986 movie was really good. Now I'm excited because there is conformation of a REMAKE happening. Can't wait!!!!! FEED ME!!!
In the time I'm watching this, I'm studying up for when I do Audrey II's voice for my school play. Wish me luck, internet! Edit: Stupid virus... I never got to perform...
I saw an English Production when my family lived in Japan. The actor they had for Seymore still had a rather similar dorky resemblance to Rick Moranis.
Ironically, the puppeteer is Bill Remington, who also puppeteered Audrey II in the Broadway revival. Not just that, but the puppet is made by Monkey Boys Productions. The puppet company founded by some of the people who helped worked on the Broadway puppets. It’s also designed after it as well.
That was perfect! One of the best versions I have ever seen! Having seen the videos from the guys who made Audrey 2 I have nothing but admiration for the puppeteer, just knowing his legs are the tentacles and what he must be going through in that puppet, wow!
Really good. I will be Audrey 2 in the theatre in July in Peru. I am watching some videos and learn more about Audrey 2 and her voice. I do not have a strong voice but, I can try, so I think that your video can help me with my presentation. Thank you!
this is by far the best performance of Feed Me I have ever watched (besides the movie of course) good work! the puppet was great and the voice was just like the real audrey II! :)
@@invic564 because they controlled audrey 2 very well. puppets of those size tend to be on the heavier side so it’s most likely required to use their whole body to operate it properly and that quickly.
Okay, whoever is controlling the puppet did a fantastic job!
He also performed the Audrey II puppet for the Broadway revival. His name is Bill Remington.
The puppet itself I believe is a rental from Monkey Boys Productions.

whoever plays Seymour in this is a really really really great actor!!!!!!!
Thats Josh Lamon!
Currently on Broadway in Finding Neverland!
Go see him!
That puppeteer must be ripped. Audrey 2 moved very quickly!
The head of an audrey 2 like that one isn't very heavy its made of a lightweight foam and frame that can be manipulated quite easily the tricky part is to get the movements to sync with the voice actor
Ryan Hardy thinking the same thing. About to do this in my play in a few hours and I'm sore as fuck and am barely moving like this.
Why is must ve ripped
some of the best puppeteering of Audrey II ive ever seen on this scale!!
Why
That puppeteer was clearly having the time of his life.
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! Everything from the design, mobility, and voice of the plant was perfect! Seymore was great too but whoever operated that plant deserves an award
I loved how the puppeteer was so energetic when it came to Twoeys movements!

tHESE VOCALS ARE FIERCE ALL THE WAY AROUND. bravo!
I've been thinking of different ways to deliver the "I beg your pardon?" line, and this looks like one of the funniest I've seen...

4:42 I live for Seymour's dancing
I dont know who's having more fun. The voice, or the puppeteer.
Why
Lol Yes to both
0:34 I love how he waits 12 seconds😂😂
Festive Herobrine best part 😂
This is awesome. This one of the best live manipulations of the plant I've seen since the revival.

Amazing cast!!! Shout out to Bill the puppeteer, he looks like he's having fun! :D

Tess he is who is moving the plant? WOW that is awesome
Plant: "feed me."
Seymore: *long pause* "pardon me?"
Seymour has such a beautiful singing voice. I love it.
This Audrey 2 design is fantastic
One of the best renditions of this song I have seen--- both Audrey II and Seymour! And the plant design is fabulous.
Audrey 2 looks so pretty!! The artists did an amazing job!
Okay but Seymour's voice is everything!! I'm in love 💕💕
The dude who played Seymour is a very good singer
Mattbrain WOW!
Both your and Seymour's vocals were startlingly good! Especially after Orin and Audrey's dialogue, (which just so happens to be my favorite part.) Incredible work.
And the plant is actually energetic, unlike so many performances you see on CZcams.
Bill Remington is the genius that makes the plant Come Alive!

I would feed this plant with all I got, lol!!! What a sexy voice!! The best Audrey after the original!!!

This version is just perfect.
Still one of my favorite versions of this song to this day.
the ladies just add so much fullness to the song.
Maxx, you (or whoever is in the plant) look like you're just spazzing out sometimes and I love it

Mason Quigley Quite possibly.

It's not gonna be as good. they're gonna use CGI for the plant and it's not gonna look as good as puppetry.
CGI will never top the original puppet in terms of looking real, but I still have hopes for the other parts of the movie being good
Both singers are great casts
Best voice for Audrey II I've seen yet!
ikr

I’m actually the puppeteer in my show now this helps on some ideas to do on stage!
You are an puppeter?
I...simply...cannot get over this VOICE I Agree! Best EVER since Stubbs!
The Audrey II actor sounds a lot like the movie
He was coached by him :D
Seymour Krelborn that explains it
Incredible Seymour and Audrey II!
Holy shit, that puppet work is amazing!!! And every singer is too!
Potato_Chii sadly the singer died
I've done this show 3 times and this is very good. Well done 😊
FANTASTIC VOCALISTS. :)
I always wanted to join theater or Broadway, just too be the puppeteer of the plant.
Because someone is in the planet for the movement
