I was raised in Maine and DD was and is my favorite place to go when I am near one (live in CO now for 30 years). DD is where my late mother took me as a little girl for hot chocolate and a donut home before we went shopping. I miss DD.

Yes, girl!!! My grandfather used to take me to Wenchel's every weekend when I was little. We would go get donuts, then go to the car wash that pulled your car through and you watched it get washed through the window. It is one of my favorite memories of being a kiddo.

We have "Rev A Shelf" drawers installed in almost all of our lower cabinets, you might like them in your coffee bar lower cabinets. We got them at Lowes.
I am not really a Dunkinfan either. My favorite is to get donuts from the Amish. The best is called a long john. It is a powered sugar donut about six inches long and is filled from end to end with cream. Also my nephew cut a cat head shape at the bottom of his basement door for his cat to be able to go down to use the litter box. Maybe your husband co6do that for your sweet litter baby. ❤

The way you feel about west coast donuts is the way I feel about New England pizza and seafood. My husband doesn't get the difference between Red Lobster and REAL New England seafood. Or Pizza Hut/Subway and a good local pizza and "grinders" shop. There was a VERY good donut shop in Worcester that we used to go to. I just looked it up, and apparently, they've closed. 😥 There is a place here in Ohio at Geneva On The Lake that has great donuts - We always pick up a box when we're there. I think it's so funny because we live in southwest Louisiana and we never get a winter. We just recently went through a bout of "winter" where it was 7 degrees for the feels like temperature. Here we call it an "artic blast". You guys just call that winter lol. I do envy your snow though! We've never seen real snow. Just Cajun "sneaux". It's basically frozen icy stuff that doesn't last. And it's not often.
I have never ordered online grocery delivery before... my kids are all mid 20's and out on their own...delivery/online was never an option when they were younger... now, it is just me and the hubs..and I don't mind going to the grocery store...I would hate to have an order delivered, and something is wrong, or missing! That would drive me nuts! Lol!
We live in Texas, donut shops and nail shops on every corner as well. The difference is you like yeast donuts, the fluffy kind. I like them too. Dunkin are CAKE donuts. They are more like a muffin. I actually prefer them, the blueberry ones are amazing. I find them much more filling and satisfying. We have both kinds in Dallas, I think most people here prefer the local yeasty ones you like. I don't mind them but prefer cakey ones, glad we have a choice here.

Im from SC in my area we have a donut store, they make theirs fresh everyday and its called Krispy Kreme google it and see if you have one close to you, i think they only have it SC. They are the best ive every eaten.
If you’re looking for excellent donuts, if you have an Amish market near you, they have wonderful donuts and also there’s a donut shop in Philly in the Reading Terminal Market that sells wonderful donuts. They’re called Beiler donuts. But definitely if you have an Amish market near you they have literally the best donuts ever and I agree Dunkin’ Donuts are horrible!
I live in Utah and yes there are so many donut shops on the west coast and soda shops lol. But I will admit I miss Dunkin from when I lived in the south for a little while.

Krispy Kreme is the best donut place ever. Look them up and see what you think! I'm very curious to know how they compare to the west coast :) Dunkin Donuts has good, smooth coffee (at least to me) but the donuts are terrible... frozen and not fresh at all. Please try Krispy Kreme!
She would like Krispy Kreme but still probably prefer local shops. Those are yeast donuts. Dunkin makes cake donuts, I actually prefer them, they are more like a muffin.
I am not the biggest Krispy Kreme fan. I actually love cake donuts! My favorite is a pink frosted cake donut with sprinkles. But you can't find good, fresh, fluffy cake donuts here. They are all so dense and dry. And none that are frosted.
Vegas is great but I wanted more - more family, more water, more trees, more seasons, more history... we are so thrilled we moved. We LOVE living in New England.

Im from SC in my area we have a donut store, they make theirs fresh everyday and its called Krispy Kreme google it and see if you have one close to you, i think they only have it SC. They are the best ive every eaten.
We had Krispy Kreme in CA and in Vegas. They are good, definitely.
If you’re looking for excellent donuts, if you have an Amish market near you, they have wonderful donuts and also there’s a donut shop in Philly in the Reading Terminal Market that sells wonderful donuts. They’re called Beiler donuts. But definitely if you have an Amish market near you they have literally the best donuts ever and I agree Dunkin’ Donuts are horrible!

I live in Utah and yes there are so many donut shops on the west coast and soda shops lol. But I will admit I miss Dunkin from when I lived in the south for a little while.

Haha, which ones was I wearing?? If it's the halloween ones, I got them on Amazon. If it was the pink bow ones, they were from Shein a few years ago.

Krispy Kreme is the best donut place ever. Look them up and see what you think! I'm very curious to know how they compare to the west coast :) Dunkin Donuts has good, smooth coffee (at least to me) but the donuts are terrible... frozen and not fresh at all. Please try Krispy Kreme!
She would like Krispy Kreme but still probably prefer local shops. Those are yeast donuts. Dunkin makes cake donuts, I actually prefer them, they are more like a muffin.
I am not the biggest Krispy Kreme fan. I actually love cake donuts! My favorite is a pink frosted cake donut with sprinkles. But you can't find good, fresh, fluffy cake donuts here. They are all so dense and dry. And none that are frosted.
Why did you move from Vegas? We visited recently and loved it.
Vegas is great but I wanted more - more family, more water, more trees, more seasons, more history... we are so thrilled we moved. We LOVE living in New England.
You mentioned in your video that you have 4 cats and a dog or two. There are many of us who have pets, like you do. Would you consider doing a video about what you do to cut down on pet odors or how you clean up if there are any pet accidents. You clean a lot like many of us, and maybe you have some tricks for all of us to use.

Thank you so much! I really need to get my hair done! I had an appointment when I was sick that I had to cancel and I haven't been able to get back in. I am scheduled to go in February thank goodness because I have sooooo much white hair.
