Ok this is the circle. I wached the things' movie (2011), I remembered the game of "the thing", I listned the song in final credits in a video downoled from years, shazaming, at last l'm hear.
Honestly when I first heard that Josey left I didn't pay any interest to the new music but after hearing these releases I think i'll give it a go, He sounds great and like you say he does fit Saliva pretty well.

It's always almost impossible for a singer to come into a band and be liked more than who they replaced. The only one I can think of that has done that is probably Howard Jones with Killswitch Engage
