The stock grind for helis is tough. You should do fine with mouse and keyboard, i don't see a need for a joystick. Try not to rely on auto hover, practice reducing your collective to balance the helo, that way you will have more maneuverability. Also when your engine RPM's drop drop your collective to regain RPM.
I've heard from teammates that joystick type play is only way to do planes and helis .
Don't abuse hover mode and use the manual control for roll correction (cant remember the name).. it will smoothen the flight
You play it so wrong but so funny at the same time.. i guess, it's funny to see someone SUFFER !

Its a matter of discipline and principle. a warrior's code or bushido if you like, engrained in any japan main that tracks down all the way to the ancient times when ho-ro was the only viable option for a back up after dying in the type 90.

I always felt... "heavy?" in a chopper soo I don't use them. The editing becomes more smoother, nice job
Early helis tend to be fat
Helis are acting like their real world counterparts but the problem is that rest of the game does not follow suit.
Also physics engine is wonky and little to non-existent.

@@MojiMikato Plus the fact a heli can surive way more than it should sometimes and when the tail is shot off the heli should spin out of control yet it does not in game which allows the heli to continue to engage. The only problem with helis is either when your team does not shoot at them or they are in their spawn using atgms. Besides that Helis are not that bad of a problem.

its how they "fixed" people bringing low tier into top tier games. Used to be able to ace a tank in 3 games if you got a few kills.

@@rextheinkling9956 not unless he requests the vehicle spaded as a test drive from Gaijin. CCs also can only get vehicle test drives every once in a while. They have to grind too. I have a friend who is a CC, and aiming to be one myself someday.

Yet another wonderful video filled with laughs
Getting the hang of helicopters takes a long time. The US AH1G offers the best non guided weapons experience, and it's a good way to learn the ropes in mixed battles. A guy called Bruce Leeroy has the best heli piloting I've ever seen. He usually plays on sim with a VR headset, but you can pick up a lot by watching how he flies.

Best way to do a 180 in a helo is to roll slightly in one direction, and then yaw in that direction while pitching up, you'll do the tightest and most efficient 180

Pro helicopter tip: You can lock onto targets in third person if you have your gun cursor pointed at the target. Might have to spam the button a couple of times
