(Tomb Raider I Remastered) Jump bug with modern controls

- The original controls makes your jump go higher, apparently. I haven't managed to reach this secret with the modern controls, but I can do it consistently with the tank controls (old ones).
As a side note, seems like the action button doesnt work properly on modern controls? Tried to rebind it to another button but doesnt work at all.
They should have called the secondary button as grab. So many people are confused by it.
Modern controls useful tips and commands:
(Remember that directions are camera relative in Modern Controls)
- Vault to grab ledges (same as tank controls):
Hold grab button (secondary/alternate) + forward.
- Back and side flipping:
Hold the draw weapons button, wait for animation, press and hold jump then immediately after press back, left or right
- Back stepping:
Hold the draw weapons button, wait for animation, tap backwards.
OR
Press Look key to toggle to look mode, hold back. While still holding back press look key to toggle it off. (Thanks Eli Parker and TR Reddit)
- Sidestepping:
Press the Look key to toggle to look mode. While in it hold walk button + left or right. Keep holding them and press look key to toggle it off (Thanks Eli Parker and TR Reddit)
- Hold ledges when falling:
Run towards the ledge while holding the grab button (secondary/alternate).
- Swan Dive (same as tank controls):
From Idle: Press and hold the jump button, immediately after press forward + walk button.
From Running: Keep holding forward, press jump + walk button.
- Fancy climb up (same as tank controls):
While holding to a ledge, hold walk button then press forward.
- Swimming:
Lara swims freely in all directions relative to the direction you are facing (also includes how far up or down you are looking), no need to hold the jump button. To swim to surface, look up as much you can and move forward until Lara breaths again. You can swim forward, backwards and sideways freely on the surface. To dive, hold the jump button. To grab a ledge low enough, hold forward + grab button.
- Moving backwards while crawling/crouching:
Hold the walk button while crouched and tap backwards.
- Grabbing a ledge from crawling position:
Use the backwards movement described above until you are positioned backwards towards a ledge, hold the walk + grab button, then hold backwards.
- Diving roll from sprinting:
While sprinting, keep holding forwards and press the roll button.
Swimming is too difficult
My mistake was apparently that I always wanted to jump and hold to the ledge. It's much more consistent to just hold the action button where Lara jumps to the exact height of the object in front of her. This is not new with the remastered version but I didn't think the game would make such a thing out of this little difference.
From what I've read, in the modern controls, there's something called "secondary" to do things you can't do with the action button, like getting out of the water. So a second action button, for some reason. Odd.
This is not because of the modern controls, nor its a bug it just that action jumping and normal jumping have different heights.
This Jump is now bugged. Can't do it with any controls

Yes...also Jump button is automatically "mixed" with the action one, when jumping with the guns it shoots or without them she tries to hold or grab (Im using PC keyboard). Were somebody able to fix that? is annoying
What helped me is not using alt+Ctrl, but just Ctrl so she automatically grabs the edge
I'm pretty sure he's using a keyboard and mouse because I have the same problem. it also affects being able to shoot the gun
Had the same problem on PS5.

I thought I couldn't either. Just hit action up and she will jump on her own. 🤦♀️
